Willie Colon is a fucking idiot. I feel like he's the kind of guy the rest of the company makes fun of. Him debating Francis on Golf and the NBA is just horrifying.

 

What has he been saying?

 

The golf thing started with talking about Tiger. He says I don't watch golf but, it's good for Tiger to be back because there aren't enough stars in the game for people to watch. Francis whole heartedly disagrees and Colon is like if I'm walking by a tv and Tiger is on I'll stop. Casual fans aren't doing that for the other guys. (Can't name any other guys.) He then says Tennis has star power because people know Nadal and Federer but golf doesn't have that without Tiger.

Which led to Francis laying out a really good argument about how everyone generally claims every sport is worse now than in the past. He said he believes the current era of most sports is really good. Colon gets triggered about the NBA being shitty now. Talks about how Jimmy Butler wouldn't be a good player in Kobe's day. Said Francis was on drugs for not thinking Jimmy Butler was a top 10 player in the league. Started a Kobe vs Lebron debate, said Francis was lying about watching Golden State games before they won a title, told him he didn't know what he was talking about when he said Kobe was pretty unwatchable 5 years ago.

He basically tried to turn it into a message board argument. JSB wasn't there which didn't help. She probably would have steered it to a better place.

I did for like 15 minutes. They had zah on. He talked about the porn business he ran at the all boys boarding school he attended and going to witch doctors to curse people. He's a great addition to barstool.

 

Hearing Cousin Mike go immediately into disbelief about Zah's alien story was pretty funny.

I haven't seen much original content from Zah that I've loved but he's just an unreal perspective to have around. Especially at a place that is constantly piegion-holed as much as Barstool
