twitter has really pissed me off lately, as now our timelines are filled with "lots of people YOU follow, follow this person" and includes a tweet. Hey twitter, if I wanted to follow them, I would. You are literally filling my timeline with people I don't follow.
can you help a brother out? I tried when it started and couldn't find anywhere that was obvious, so whenever I see one I just hit the tweets details and it lets you "see less like this" and it's gone down, but couldn't turn them all off
This is where they are at their best, having a real convo with their guests. It feels like you are sitting with a bunch of friends hanging out. Instead of PFT trying to always be smartest guy in room/one up any guest.
it was a funny dynamic between PMT guys wanting to talk about porn and being 13, Ryen wanting to give out tons of advice about his 20s, and Titus discovering that his life, all things considered, has been pretty great.
This Real Sports piece on HBO tonight should be interesting, as will be the emergency press conference that follows.
Random but related - has barstool distanced itself from Stu feiner? They’re all in on gambling content and he’s not around (not that I care). I bring it up because I always got the vibe in stool scenes that he was trying to make moves / go out of his way to impress her. Could totally see him making an unwanted advance.
Dave is absolutely killing everyone who didn't dress up tonight for their "awards show" tonight. KFC looks extremely uncomfortable with Dave just destroying him. Pres just looks on tilt tonight.
Also word is HBO cut all the Ria footage and interview because she had nothing but positive things to say about Dave and Barstool.
I still don't know who at Barstool thought it was a good idea for HBO to set up shop and film for 3 weeks. 5 minutes in they have already compared Dave to a third world dictator and talked about the Fat Pen.
It annoys me they think they are above the company they work for. Their window is shrinking by the day as no college aged girls wants to hear a 30 something talking about Glock Glock 3000.
I watched the real sports piece on stool. Interesting, but there’s a lot of “joe tip-off” moments, for instance the majority of their audience is young white men. I think barstool is reaching its peak, and down the road something new, young and innovative will surpass them.
I like some content. Not others. And generally don’t like the overall barstool vibe. Not sure I need to watch an HBO segment to tell me what I already know. But I guess there are plenty of ppl who watch Real Sports and don’t know what barstool is
