That's part of it. Dave just hired Francis about 4/5 weeks ago, he's saying that he doesn't know the guy at all. You shouldn't throw an employee under the bus like that though.

Dave and Big Cat were 100% right, people might think it's the Wild Wild West but when you are bringing outsiders into the barstool world you need to be self-aware enough to know what is professional or not. Don't feel like putting in the effort to get the whole story but from what I can tell I don't see the issue with anyone here. I think it's pretty reasonable to expect your new employees to not ask guests if they're single and for their number. It is, after all, a business.
Not gonna lie, bought the "shooters shoot" shirt the second I saw it. Also thought it would be a great shirt to wear at the craps table but that is besides the point.
in just about every office, putting moves on a guest of the company would likely get a new employee fired. Barstool isnt the average office environment though. if Dave is going to parlay this into content, its contradictory to let this play out for the sake of site traffic & social media buzz then later axe the guy.
I agree that he cant be doing that as an employee, but I think Dave took that after the fact, that wasn't his concern initially.
