Looks like the lock up period on preferred shares is step down scheduled over four years. Big Cat equity + cash is ~8M now (1.78%). His equity prior to dilution was just shy of 2.8% I’m kind of surprised this only sold at 4.5x revenue ($100M). I could see a lot more content moving to a recurring revenue model if Barstool is eyeing a Series C in a few years. They’ll probably need the C for a full fledged TV network. Either Penn got a hell of a deal due to the risk of Barstool, or Barstool was willing to take less for the right partner.

I like about 5 percent of what they put out. Pmt and pick em. That’s about it. Although I do listen to starting 9 from time to time. I don’t do the rundown, radio, the blogs. That’s certainly changed in over the years. I only follow pft and big cat on twitter. But I have enough of their history to be aware of most things. But I find most of it pretty awful. And I find most stoolies awful and a lot of barstool trash

I’ve come to the conclusion that the RNR is quality is directly tied to the glove weight. Head gear is much less of a factor. Lighter gloves means more velocity on their punches and more endurance for later rounds.

I don’t follow the gambling stuff, but will check an electric chair here or there if BC or Dave. Most of us do not like most of the content people but you aren’t supposed to. They have diversified age and gender on their content and pods which is a reason they sold for that valuation. They reach a wide audience.
The Yak is really the only Barstool content I consume regularly so that puts me a rung above bro and makes my perspective even better than his.
