IMO, since the Chernin deal the blog itself has suffered the most. I miss El Pres going at KFC, Big Cat blogs, etc...they still have that stuff but it's on different mediums now. Either on the radio or the a podcast or on the rundown now. Not to say that's bad, but it's been to the detriment of the blog imo. This is kind of an "old man yells at cloud" complaint but I kinda miss it being all in one place...they've gotten so big that's it tough to keep up with at times now. I used to read the blog nearly daily but rarely do at all now. I also feel that there are far too many personalities now. Before there were the 5-6 main guys with developed schticks...now I don't have enough time to keep up with who is who. PFT and Glenny are the only new additions (since the blog only days) that consistently are entertaining to me Having said that, PMT is elite. Better than most anything the blog could have accomplished. So there have definitely been positives from diversifying away from the blog, but I do miss more of the El Pres rivalry blogs
Absolutely. The best part was how nonchalant he was about it. He was actually more worried about the 6 miles than jerking off 18 times.
I follow PMT and cherry pick other barstool content. Never have and never will be a regular reader of everything they put out
Yeah that's how I am now. Pre-Chernin, though, I used to read most everything. It's just gotten huge. Good for them though, they've worked hard and I'm glad to see them get paid
Agreed, skipped most of Kareem's interview and like half of Huggs'. I'm more of a fan of the hot takes and memes
Overall it was pretty vanilla but Huggs' sneak diss about Big Cat's moving screens saying he'd be a Nova guy was pretty damn funny
I don't think Harbaugh is going to have the slightest idea what they are doing but he's going to love them talking about grit and football guys.
Hank Azaria's was about the funniest interview I've heard on there...don't think he had any idea it was going to be so crude
You can tell when the interviewee has no idea what they're getting into when they try not to cuss at the start of the interviews
That segment where they had him do voices by describing mr portnoy, Orgeron and a few others might be one of the funniest they've done
I would say YouTube from about 10 years ago to get a feel. Then start at the first pmt, go from there. Google el prez is also a good start
I want to apply during the next wave of intern hires. Hopefully OMB and his broken brain aren't in charge of selecting the interviewees again.
