Finished mondays pmt episode earlier today. Liam def got fired/heavily encouraged to leave right? I had noticed quite a few bad transitions between segments where you missed the beginning of what they were talking about. Assuming that was his work
Agreed and thought It was just my phone until you mentioned it but the past few episodes I heard a few words repeat itself. So basically an awful cut job. Alright batgirl low bar to beat.
stavros is legit funniest guy alive and that hour plus of of him on pmt was some of hardest laughs of my life
I thought his standup was just alright, but he strikes me as someone who is just incredible to be around on a daily basis. that laugh is infectious
The line about Mitch trubisky air-mailing his wide open cumshot slayed me. Worst breakups Mount Rushmore and stavros leading off with Steve McNair and then John Bobbit, while competing against Pangea and Matt Damon / minnie driver was phenomenal.
https://frontofficesports.com/penn-...source=twitter&utm_campaign=threaded-comments Penn Entertainment has exercised its rights to purchase the chunk of Barstool Sports that it didn’t already own, according to an SEC filing on Wednesday. The company formerly known as Penn National Gaming closed a deal to purchase a 36% stake in Barstool at a $450 million valuation in February 2020 — with an option to take a bigger stake in the company over the next three years. Bloomberg reported that Penn will pay $387 million to purchase the rest of Barstool. The acquisition of Barstool’s outstanding shares is expected to be completed in February, according to Penn’s SEC filing. Game-Changing Acquisitions Penn is coming off a record quarter where it generated $1.6 billion. Its interactive segment — which includes Barstool Sportsbook, theScore Bet and slot machines — had $142 million in revenue in the quarter, a 40% bump. Penn acquired Score Media and Gaming in October 2021 for $2 billion, giving the gaming company a foothold in Canada. Barstool branding is utilized in Penn’s sports betting efforts at its casinos (where it’s launched Barstool Sportsbook locations) and with a betting app available in 11 states.
Well damn I thought it was just the opposite. He was coming up on a contract renewal that wasn't going to be done.
In like 18 months i don’t think they’ll actually not renew him. The coin boys stuff that he and Dana do was referenced specially on PENNs earnings call and generally if that happens you won’t get fired because you’re dating someone in the office who was single and not your superior or below you
Rough n Rowdy just started with an amazingly comical knockdown. Dude literally fell like a fish, eyes rolled back and bounced right up
I thought she'd been looking better than usual lately which makes sense considering I have a thing for pregnant women
Liver King interview on PMT this AM. Good grief this dude absolutely sucks. I'll suffer thru some subpar interviews, but I had to turn this one off.
i stopped listening a while back to pmt and lcb but still follow PFT on twitter - the quality of guests seems like it is down bad from 1-2 years ago. wonder how much longer they'll keep doing it
It's the only barstool content I consume, I still enjoy it. I like their interviews with players, can generally bring out a side that you don't get from cookie-cutter, boilerplate interviews. Last week with Terry McLaurin was good. The Aaron Rodgers interview was very enjoyable. It's when they get out of sports and into the more fringe guests that it goes off the rails, imo I don't gamble and that's become more of a focus in the past year or so with the Penn stuff, not really for me. But that's also with all sports, still haven't gotten used to seeing betting lines on the ESPN bottom line and more emphasized.
Enjoyed the Rodgers interview. I rarely listen but every now and then will listen to the stupid guys on chicks shit while I drive home from work
