Wonder if Erika/Dave/hank made a conscious effort to renew these type of people before the total penn takeover occurred
I think they probably make so much money they still don’t care about the clean details of a normal company. Also pretty much sounds like they’ll say pretty independent from Penn so nothings going to change.
Such a weird guy There are a few guys like Cheah, Frank, and Mintz that don't even seem like real people
I've made some good money doing his daily NBA prop bet the last two months. He hits at a ridiculous percentage
Some dude mightve just died after getting KO'd Entire arena is quiet Dave is trying to downplay the seriousness of the situation
And then they send it back to Large backstage, who offered a shot to a fighter who turned it down because he's on parole That was hilarious
This has probably been discussed multiple times, but I watched the whole Donny - Dragon Skin Youtube series and it was amazing.
I do not. Just mean the ones going with the PMT guys. Chaps has a non-binary child and Kate is pretty liberal judging by her social media.
How does this not kill the NYC office? Who on earth is still there? With Dave in Miami and Dan in Chicago there is truly no one in that office.
Yeah it does and I guess the idea is move to Chicago or you are probably not going to be around awhile. It really doesn't make sense to even keep a NYC office.
It’s probably different now due COVID/Zoom interviews being more normal now, but I know for awhile the big thing was all the people on press tours coming through NYC.
I think PMT basically admitted that the press tour interviews mostly suck and they do It's easier for them to fill an episode with a guest appearance but most of them are very forgettable
Definitely. Obviously PMT is on a different level where they don’t really “need” those interviews, but I’d guess some of the other ones are OK with the name/potential attention the bigger names get them.
Pretty sure Rico called former poster Bud Elliot as a phone a friend on The Dozen. Also, KFC got 19.5 million from the sale.
He apparently said it on their finance podcast with Large. I didn't listen and just read the cliffs on reddit, but supposedly 3% of $610 million.
Yep. I think he left after getting called out for encouraging another FSU poster to troll Oklahoma players on Twitter about a player of theirs (Austin Box) that had recently died. So like 10+ years ago
so far the titus show is rough. he doesn't have anywhere near the chemistry with jake that he did with tate frazier. i really enjoyed titus & tate so I hope they get it right eventually
Led me to Marty being salty about Titus “talking down to him.” Marty is pissed he lost his CBB podcast.
I didn’t listen to many episodes of Titus and Tate but feel like I should go back just to see how it sounded. From the few episodes so far, it seems like a weird combo. Both of them love CBB and at times can nerd out off each other but Titus is so laid back with his delivery and sometimes talks about god knows what, then Jake is super serious and uptight. Probably just need to meet a little more in the middle and also get used to each other and it might be OK. Didn’t mind any of the episodes so far, but also think the TJ/Titus combo (plus guests) could work if they don’t want to have Jake on every episode during the regular season.
Big Ev was yelling at him too during the stream because he was crying about fouls and Titus was like “should they just not call it?” Been pretty funny reading Reddit over the weekend. Everyone saying how Titus probably regrets this already, or how his move to Chicago can’t come soon enough.
Titus is the man and the whole Tate/Heels dynamic was perfect. I don’t think Tate has much to do with barstool. Feel like he was never involved when PMT would go to LA and meet up with them
