I got stuck without anyone I was really in love with in two rounds and ended up taking Elton Brand (round 3) and Thaddeus Young (round 8). Anyone have any thoughts on them as fantasy starters? Is Brand considered healthy? Young's stats don't seem crazy, but is he a breakout candidate?

I'm more of a college basketball fan, but as a casual Sixers observer, I'll say you got two question marks with with enough upside to give you fair value for when you took them. Brand appears pretty healthy right now, and Young will definitely get more minutes than he did last year. With Andre Miller gone, Lou Williams is moving to the point, Iguodala is strictly a 2, and Young should put up right around the league average for SF. I still expect him to be sporadic though. He'll go for 26 and 9 one night and 8 and 4 the next. I know Eddie Jordan likes to run his offense through the post a lot more than most coaches, so Brand should have plenty of opportunities. He's not the player he was 5 years ago, but i'll still predict 17.5 and 9 with a few assists and a block per game. Hopefully he stays healthy.

Thanks. I took Brand in that spot because all the 2s and 3s I liked were gone, and Brand was the only 4 in that range that I thought could score and also block shots. I took Al Jefferson in the second round and also got Josh Smith in the fourth, so I don't need Brand to be spectacular. But I need him to at least be able to play better than the 13 and 8 he got last year in his limited time.
