Basketball Sim League Rebooting Again: New League Starting Soon

I'm in, but only if the following demands are met:

@20x4 gets the Hornets
Banners are hoisted for conference champions and not just league titles

I miss all you guys and the people from the original league(s) are all my brothers for life (mean that, never hesitate to ask for IRL help/favors if you ever need it) but just don't have the OCD mindset I had back then to give the adequate time, at least not right now.

If I ever get the itch again i'll be back in here to let yall know

 

also just wanna say I had a lot going on in life back in 2010/2011 and the league was an outlet for me both good and bad, and I said and did some things that were wrong and I acted like an asshole to some people who didn't deserve it and there's no excuse for that. So Mops IanBoyd ohhaithur or anybody else that I wasn't good to, I apologize

I’d like to but there’s no way I’d have enough time right now. I could probably make it work checking in for 10-15 minutes most days but if I’m not fully committed I’d lose interest quick and you guys would be stuck finding a replacement out of the gate.

I have gotten 3 promotions at work since I left the league after getting 0 while I was in the league so it is probably not a good idea for me.

Having a robot run a simulation basketball league has been outstanding.

On a serious note, the league is a well oiled machine at this point because of eric. The overall time commitment is very limited and generally only 1-2 times every 3 weeks do you really need to be really active.

 

What engine do you use to sim? The same ole FBB? Or is it the new one?

Same software, new experience with Eric as commish. In-depth stats, custom links, career stat tracking including retires players, championship banner with links to champ team pages, consistent 16 day sim cycle per season, weekly pod hosted by druce, enhanced scouting and the list goes on and on

Would be a very new experience for OG GMs who have been away for most or all of 5.0

 

People, many people, many EXperts are saying it's the best pod cast not only currently running, but ever run in the history of Sim League.
