If anyone didn't believe 5 titles could be a fluke I would like you to look at fecta's all-time GM'ing stats and where they stack up with everyone else absent the titles
We have 15 Which means one entire conference is full and the other side is the "minor leagues" with most of the active teams having an affiliate and essentially our version of the G-League. All the players on the minor league side are either on rookie deals and belong to an affiliate or they are the robot players that fill empty spaces
Congrats. But I'd like to point out two things. You're in a league with half the normal number of teams. Second, remember that Lenin won that many with a full league.
Fecta's run started when the league was contracting iirc. 2 came prior, think the last 3 came after, but he had essentially the same core.
Point stands that there were still half the GMs. Whether the minor leagues were in a separate division or not isn't relevant. What matters is that it's easier to win a league with 15 gms than 29. And Lenin won 5 in a league with 29 GMs. So I'm not going to be impressed by a GM that matched that run with half the GMs.
I'll come back if I can GM a team in the G-league division. That way I can win all the conference titles and lose all of the championship games just like I always did.

Seasons basically run in 2 week cycles. There are only like 4 or 5 critical deadlines per season. Everything else is up to you, upgrades, trades, etc. Draft (which now starts post Sim 8 due to wheel, so it's like a 4-5 day window) FA Bids Expansion Protections (when we have an expansion) PS DC Reg Season DC you hit those 5 and you're good
it is a well-oiled automated machine at this point... so it really does make GMing easier. so much data is provided, too, so you don't have to calculate things like P/TSA by yourself to really figure out who is good and whatnot. eric has really made it a pleasure.
there are a few notable detractors, but for the most part it has been successful, I think. It has definitely not stifled the trade market and we see 1sts (even 1.1s) get traded.
Not bad honestly, has been some push back, mostly due to trying to adjusting the 30 team wheel to fit a smaller number of teams. But all in all, it's not bad.
Honestly has, knowing a pick is slotted to be 1.1 gives it more value than a lottery pick with only top 4 potential. People more willing to move stars for those picks. Also, tanking has been eliminated
Yeah I gotcha, I was just saying you might be able to manage by giving 20 or 30 mins to it every few nights. But you know what you can handle better than I can.

I’d consider coming back, but some conditions would first have to be met: 1. 20s gets the Hornets name, their current roster and all of Fecta’s titles are retroactively awarded to 20s. 2. Billy King and his alt accounts are permabanned.
