Batman Arkham City

can't think of a better way to pregame for the national championship series tonight than with some flows and Arkham City

 

I've also gotten a 2 million score on jokers carnival

 

I have finished the storyline and have like 56% of the game to finish....that's pretty bad ass

 

My buddy and I worked together to get all the trophies. pearl for getting all of them by yourself.

 

Should i buy this?

You might want to play the first one to understand the story a little better. Both are great games.

The first one? Probably 15-20 at Gamestop. Maybe 10 if you look elsewhere.

I believe Arkham Asylum is $17.99 and Arkham City is $39.99 (both preowned). Factor in your discount 16.19 plus 35.99 = 52.18

You won't pay tax on store credit too. So if you have $70 store credit, $52.18 is your total. They also have the game of the year edition of Arkham City for $49.99. That comes with all the DLC that was released.

 

im not going to buy City right now... ill wait to finish Asylum

 

I believe the game of the year edition for that is $19.99

They're going to ask you if you want insurance on your game for $2 and if there anything you want to reserve while you're there.

they didn't have the GOTY edition, so I just bought the regular version.. get home and put the disc in.. disc doesn't work

 

360 tends to do that since they are easier to scratch. PS3 discs are harder to harder to scratch because they use blu-ray discs.

Clutch got scared playing Batman: Arkham Asylum

 

shit was tense late at night

 

you aren't kidding.. it was late and the scarecrow part came on

 

damn, the Joker is hard to beat at the end

 

boss fights were easy, it's the thugs that pissed me off. Shooting you with a gun.

 

I struggled with the fight right before Joker with the 2 big dudes and room of henchmen. Actual Joker fight was easy.

 

Beat the game.. pearl, if i bring the game back to Gamestop and say it didnt work again, will they suspect me to be lying

 

It will show on your receipt saying defective. Return it and get your money back and get Arkham City.

 

i know that, but i bought it 2 days ago.. if i go and say that it doesnt work(even though it does), will i still get my money back?

Clutch, there's a 7 day return period for GameStop with no questions asked. I've done it plenty of times. Just tell them you thought Asylum was the game that just came out.

Thought Arkham Asylum was too easy. My nephew borrowed Arkham City and scratched it to shit.

I hardly played. Going to have to rebuy

 

You can't use the same move to beat him twice.

Best boss fight in the game IMO

 

Gotta find something different to do to him each time (ie. get him as he walks past the window, sneak up on him, etc)

 

really try to stay on the move and out of his line of sight

and as the others said, use your arsenal of weapons to come up with different ways of getting to him

 

beat the main story.. now i'm doing side missions
