does this game run incredibly slow for anyone else? i have an xb1 and its so fucking slow on the menus and loading screens.

I still think Overwatch is the GOAT, but I've been playing a ton of BF1 lately. I find it a ton of fun, even when I'm incredibly frustrated after: 1. Getting killed before moving 1 step after spawning 2. Watch thousands of medics run by my dead body without a revive 3. Running into the line of fire for a revive only for teammate to call for an immediate respawn, getting me killed in the process 4. Being shot in the back constantly 5. Snipers on my team doing nothing to push the point. 6. Snipers on the other team not really helping their team out, but still being incredibly annoying in certain places. Ok that settles it. GT: NomadHokie (on XB1) ETA: Guys, I'm 99% sure that if you get revived the previous death is erased from your KDR, so you should always want it, because it can only help your team (and your KDR).

Ah gotcha. Was making sure it wasn't PC. I'd suggest dropping your sensitivity a little to get used to the aiming. Bump it up once you are feeling better about it.
BTW why the fuck is there no French pack? Nor trenches? They should have created the game from the start of the war on. Not backwards.
In addition to the aim sensitivity, which worked for me, try to slow down. If you COD before this it's half the pace or you'll get wrecked. Other than that I'd recommend the smaller maps until you get your aim right. Last but not least not sure on what class you are using but generally try to stick with guns that have larger clips so you dont die reloading.
<----- just did. Was hoping id get some toys out of it. There better be a goddamn trench battle scenario where everyone has to go over the top. And Mp map where you need to fight through the ramparts and tunnels. Wouldn't mind expanding the server size so we can see waves of bodies crashing against the defenses.
Try playing kaiserschlacht operations. First couple objectives are trench warfare, and it's intense. Plus, if you aren't very good or are new to battlefield, you don't have to worry about enemies getting behind you.
I'm in the same boat with you. The past battlefield expansions are always themed, so hopefully they will have one trench themed. Though I would be fine if they released one or two tench focused maps per expansion to keep them fresh.
Since EA owns the rights to BF and FIFA. Do you think for Christmas they can have a mod pack where the Brits and Germans play a game of football. 11v11 MP in fatigues would be hilarious.
Yea it's not entirely the same. I'm not sure how you design a wwi game and don't have trench warfare. My hope, as others have said, is that they add some trench maps in future dlc. The expectation is that they add at least one in the French dlc. It's really one of the few issues I have with the game.
its awesome. also when i get run over by a horse i just laugh. has this been done in games before? Why cant they make a medieval game or some shit with them? 64 MP with various civs through the ages duke it out. Id love me some winged hussars charging a swiss pike formation. what if each player was a commander of 5 or so AI units... that would make a chaotic online battle. A mongol horde vs cuirassiers? shut up and take my money.

Out of the trenches? That's exactly the opposite of what everyone has said they wanted. Give me some dirty, chaotic trench maps.
Dropping in to say I love this game as much as I loved 1942. Also, if they don't do Wonder Woman DLC, they're just stupid.
Is there a glitch with stats registering? I had one operations game where I had at least 20 kills, but it only showed 9. My class levelling time and all time gun stats (total kills and minutes used) also seems really off.
Weapon skins and some high level battlepacks will drop squad xp boosts. Pretty much useless except the xp boosts.
yeah who cares about a bunch of dopey skins? Is it for competitive players or something? My KDR is a fierce .32. i need to learn how to shoot.
yeah im gonna get the xim4 if i cant figure out this controller thing. its driving me crazy getting shot by guys that i have dead to rights.
You could try playing on 200% weapon damage servers if you're having trouble finishing people off. Most guns are one or two hits, but you've gotta be much more aware of your surroundings because you die easier too. I like these servers more because it feels more realistic and I don't like shooting someone point blank with the lee Enfield and not killing them.
yeah i know im having an issue aiming at guys in general because of the different sights etc. so i tried to use bolts to focus on accuracy. but i usually hit a dude. he barely survives. then he head shots me with a fucking pistol.
Use the shotgun and patrol one flag with dynamite and AT grenades and fuck um if they send hate mail you just tryna live
The key with the bolt actions is that they only do 100 damage at certain ranges. You have to be aware of how far away you are in relation to the person you're shooting at. I like the smle optical because it does 100 damage at 40-70 yards. That's a good range for most maps with infantry or optical versions. If someone is closer to me than that, I'm probably fucked anyways.
i understand the ranges. i toggle distance when i can. its just frustrating to get a solid hit on someone and then getting pistoled.
I hope after the French and Rooskies are added you can decide in MP which entente power you want to use in the trenches. Or at least certain maps where they fought shoulder to shoulder. Also im sure, no one wants to play as aus-hun but if you give certain powers boosts depending upon their class it would be a fun dynamic to add to the game.
