The key to that map is to commandeer a tank and a good gunner. They pick off anyone with a rocket and you can concentrate on other vehicles and securing targets. ****in a perfect world
I play with a guy who loves giving you the unsuspected Mach 5 fly by. It honestly gets me to pucker up sometimes.
So having played a lot over the last week. I am personally enjoying the game quite a bit. It's obviously far from perfect and maybe not what you'd expect from a traditional BF release but it is quite fun when everything clicks. Definitely still needs a lot of work with tuning and bug fixes as well as fleshing out some features but still enjoyable for me.
PS5. Have run into some minor issues but overall very stable performance. Definitely some bugs here and there but nothing game ruining.
All of my group on PS6 hasn't had many issues. That version at least seems solid. I've heard PC and Xbox both seem to have some serious issues. We might just all be lucky as well.
I’ve had very few issues on PS5 either. I’ve had fun when I don’t think about how shitty the sniper rifles are.
On 5 as well, minimal issues. My buddy on a 4 can’t even get into a game of breakthrough, hit detection is complete shit and generally not a great experience for him. He’s not typically a complainer.
That SVK i posted about earlier is the best gun in the game IMO. I already maxed it out and I play at range, really not aggressive at all. I also have no idea when I maxed it out, just went in there today to mess with attachments and I have them all. There’s an anti tank round and mag I need to do some more work with. You only get 12 rounds max so definitely need to run ammo with it. Which is stupid of course but just curious how effective they’ll be taking out vehicles.
Yeah ZH was my third favorite sniper, I preferred the one shots. But the biggest difference is bullet drop, I don’t think the SVK drops nearly as much.
I unlocked the DXR-1, which seems to have the knockdown power you’d expect from a sniper rifle. I hear the NTW-50 is an absolute motherfucker, despite having the same firepower on paper as the DXR-1. It kills tanks better than the recoilless rocket.
Also, due to harassment claims and this game’s poor showing, Activision stock is down 20% for the month.
Alright reading through the thread, is this a game I should buy right now or wait til they patch more stuff?
https://www.ea.com/games/battlefiel...eld-briefing-launch-update-and-the-road-ahead that’s a ton of fixes that will do a lot of good. Let’s hope for the best.
I really wish this was on Xbox Cloud Gaming... Holed up in my office to get away from my in-laws, playing Halo Infinite on my laptop when I really want to be playing BF.
Sounds like a good reason to go buy a spare. Also yesterday was just one of those BF games and instances. Jumped in a wildcat, got on the top turret, was some nade launder or cannon, not sure which. Not the dumb ass one on top of the tank that drops them like 3 feet from the tank. Artic map, breakthrough and attacking. Made it only to the second phase but I had 109 kills. Unlocked like 10 items on the wildcat for me and gave a slew of awards. That particular gun is probably OP as hell and will be corrected. Also that was the type of game that only happens early release BF. That was probably entirely possible through guys not yet knowing how to fly.
EA and Activision are basically interchangeable when it comes to scummy shit so I can see how one might make that mistake.
It came from this article, which references Activision and EA/Blizzard. I misread it and thought it was one issue instead of one issue at two different companies. My apologies, but there’s a huge patch coming Thursday and another one in December https://www.marketwatch.com/amp/sto...d-2042-woes-slam-videogame-stocks-11637610110
Very excited for bloom to get fixed and the PP-29 to get toned down a bit. I still think there need to be limitations on loadouts though. I feel like you are seeing Sundance far too much.
Do you guys feel the changes announced will fix some of the core issues our missing features from previous games? will keep this on my radar but still hoping in BF4 from time to time
They need to make structures able to be destroyed, like they’ve always been. And put mortar strikes in every mode, not just the BFBC2 boards
Those shields are ridiculous as well. The deploy-able ones, not the guy with the shield. They stop tanks dead in their tracks.
The fact that I have a 5800 ryzen and 3080 rtx and I'm getting mediocre performance is laughable. But that's just my luck. DICE not having a clue why is pathetic. They built the fucking game.
They are fixing the spread on the other guns so they should be viable come tomorrow. The PP-29 is busted.
It's range for a smg is absolutely busted. Right now the gun has zero downside to using it. It's terrific in every scenario.
