I mean yes it would be nice, but all the other BFs for console have been 12v12, so we all know it doesn't take away from the experience at all.
Agreed. Those that have consoles make sure to install the HD graphics install onto your console and here is why. Without HD graphics installed. With HD graphics installed. PS3 it's 2 GBs and 360 it's 1.5 GBs

How does one go about installing that? I'm guessing it will ask you when you first put the disc in. That is a huge difference.
Yeah, so I have a modded Xbox and BF3 has dropped already on the interwebs so I've been playing the single player so far. I have both discs downloaded, and when you put the multiplayer (Disc 1) disk in it will ask you if you want the HD upgrade. Downloads in about 5 mins from the disc. The game looks very good for a Xbox 360 game, and so far I'm enjoying the single player ALOT. This game actually feels like something from the Hurt Locker, and not something from a Michael Bay movie. The SP is already much better than BFBC2 and I'm only a quarter of the way through it.
24 hours from now I will be waiting at my local gamestop to grab this game. Anybody else going to be suffering the same fate as I?

it'll prolly be a couple weeks before i can get my hands on BF3... money is little tight right now with Chiefs having 3 straight home games... plus it'll let me hear reviews for BF3 and Cod
More in depth review since I'm basically 85% through with the Singe Player. To get started I'm a big fan of military shooters. Some of my favorite single players in this genre include: COD4, MW2, Killzone 2, and now BF3. I played BFBC2's single player and was underwhelmed by a mediocre story, and average level design. I feel like in Bf3 that DICE finally knows how to make a great single player to match their multiplayer. I wont spoil any story pieces, but for most of the game you are a ground solider but you do get two vehicle based levels. If you've been following the game you will know what they are but if not let me tell you that they are A LOT of fun. The graphics are amazing in single player, so much better than the beta. The game is one of the best looking on the 360, but obviously isn't nearly as good as the PC version. The sound design beats out almost any other game I've played. Everything has a sound and everything sounds good. The music is great as well. There are some very good set pieces, and some "holy shit" moments. I will be shocked if this game doesnt get at least one segment on FOX news for how they portray some of the brutalities of war. The destruction isn't as prevalent as I thought. Stuff is flying all over the place, but it isnt like you are going to be taking down cover or buildings or anything crazy in single player. The story is good, but not mindblowing. It is a decent military story for a modern war game. It all unfolds nicely. The levels are diverse and fun. Overall, I'm really enjoying it and could see myself playing it again in the future for kicks.

if your xbl account means alot to you, i would buy your new subscription now... I had a friend do this and he got like 2-3 months free before they caught it. They locked his account until he paid his back dues... so he had to create an all new account.
