***BBQ Redux Redux thread - All outdoor cooking except whole hog***

I just bought the Camp Chef pizza oven attachment for the Sidekick. Wife has severe food allergies so I picked up some cauliflower crusts as well.

Really looking forward to when the little guy is big enough to pick out his own toppings.

Also the pizza talk got me into looking at dough recipes. This is my world now and I am ready for it.

 

Did a couple of cauliflower crusts this last go round for the keto family member
They were good, cooked a bit faster than the other doughs I've done so far

 

What's the meatball?

 

I tend to eat all of my water skillet bbq hot dogs in one sitting so I’ll never need to do that

There was a time that even the mention of the name Taques conjured images of the best that Texas has to offer. You could feel the football in your hands at the mention of his name, smell the brisket, feel the incoming keyboard zinger. I don’t actually remember it but it is written in my journal so it must be true.

Or maybe god planted the journal there like dinosaur bones to test my faith. Whatever, real or imaginery, I want that Taques back.

 

After now having owned a pellet grill myself, I know that what he was doing was in fact actual cheating and therefore has been erased from history

I saw a beautiful Yoder smoker this weekend and reminisced about the prime Taques days. What a sad, sad fall from glory

 

watching Taques right now is like watching MJ during his Wizards days

Those are all a distant second to Brooklyn bbq

Not sure if you like lamb, but ground lamb on the smoker is fucking insanely good.

 

Thoughts? I’ve never had gatlins but pinkertons is a good pick
