I went to Primo last Friday and BGE last Saturday. I wanted a Primo XL due to the shape, but went with BGE XL due to cost. The Primo setup I wanted would have been $2200 and that was with a steep discount on the grill. There were no throw ins at Primo which is why the price skyrocketed.
Made some wings earlier and sauced this batch. Just pulled a butt that I'm going to slice a little later during fireworks.
Made them last weekend with some leftover brisket. Wife said they were the best beans she’s ever had. They were even better the next day.
I had some pulled pork in the freezer so I used that. Got them simmering now but they do taste pretty damn great
Like I tried to tell you, a kettle is a hellova every day grill I've got quite the assortment of other options at my disposal, and non of them include thinking of using charcoal for a brisket
Legit I said “this is my buddy ark’s recipe. It’s legit.” She goes “is that one of your Mainboard friends?” She told me to thank you for the recipe. I forgot because drunk.
It's like when someone asked in here why apple pie filling. I have no idea but that shit is ammmmaaazzzinnggg
Wife wanted sliced pork so did a butt to 165 today. Took it off and cranked up the BGE to direct 400. Heated some bbq sauce and added brown sugar and molasses so it was thick. Coated the butt with it and threw it on the BGE for about 90 seconds on each side just to char it a bit and then sliced it down. The sauce on the edges made it so much better than normal. Each slice had a little. Big fan. Spoiler
