Burgers on the gasser with GrillGrates, seven ounces patties. These are flipped after 3 mins (with a 1/4 turn for marks halfway) just before cheese put on and 2 more minutes.
I need to make some burgers soon. I never make them but a good ole hamburger is just an American classic and super delicious. Crinkle fries or a baked potato are good sides.
Yeah, burgers are great. Quick question, without a poll because it shouldn't need one; Is there anyone here that eats burgers *without* cheese? Like, burgers instead of cheese burgers? If so, you're either allergic to casein/whey or you're just a complete weirdo and you probably have bodies buried in and around your yard/house.
I do regularly. I don't like American cheese, so if that is the choice I pass and eat without cheese Spoiler some would say I am weird so yolo
Yeah they are way better than on the grill IMO and they can be made so quickly. Smash burger > other burgers
Think it is very meh largely tasteless and a waste of time. I also don't eat nacho cheese of the pour out of a can and pump onto stale chips like a movies and sporting events
Too cunty to appreciate the small place American cheese has in grilled cheese and cheeseburgers. Fucking hell...
if it’s American cheese then I’ll pass, cheddar hell yea. But I’m lactose intolerant and will be . So most of the time it’s a regular burger for me.
It’s good on breakfast biscuits I think But if you’ve ever had a sausage and pimento cheese breakfasts biscuit it’s hard to go back
I mean I'll eat it, its not a deal breaker or anything. But if there's ketchup on there I'm not touching it.
American cheese has a place in this world, but I think most of us formed our opinions of it by eating kraft singles as kids. It's pretty good when sliced thick from a deli, and melts great (no pun intended) in a variety of applications. I remember John Besh being flabbergasted to learn that his "Best Thing I Ever Ate" (the Crab au Gratin at Bon Ton Cafe in New Orleans) owed its decadence to american cheese.
Wait, I knew it was unacceptable to put ketchup on hot dogs...now we've spread that to burgers too? Mayo+ketchup is great on burgers.
Agree 100% regarding the melting. Don’t buy the individually wrapped singles. Also, it’s great on eggs too.
Cheeseburger Swiss Lettuce Tomato Onion Mustard Mayo Little bit of ketchup my burgers are a disaster when eating
I will eat a burger with cheese and without cheese. American or cheddar or swiss and sometimes I even put provolone on it. Smashed or grilled or smoke. Fuck it, I'm down. I love a good quality burger.
I like all of it my tacos look like salads. kids only like the chicken, Guac and rice. wife likes everything but the green salsa Here’s my plate
