Coworker and I just split a ton bulk order from https://bbqpelletsonline.com/. Reasonable price, good customer service, and after burning through 30 lbs or so, I'm very pleased with their quality and flavor.
40# bags. I keep a couple next to the smoker in a plastic storage box on my patio and the rest are stacked in my garage. With shipping it ended up being $14/bag.
Nice. I may look into the 1/4 ton quote. I’ve been reading that not many people like the recteq pellets. Don’t want to sell myself short as that is all I have used so far
You are going to need to be a little more concise with your posts jackwad. Which smoker? You done said you have 50 of them. Stop being lazy!
Ohh and on the pellet prices discussion My local sams has these for about $14.50 for a 40lb bag https://www.samsclub.com/p/premium-hardwood-bbq-pellets-smokehouse-blend-40lbs/prod22631792
The GMG pellet pooper The straw that broke the camels back on buying a pellet smoker is my new found sausage making obsession
Got the Joe heating up and gonna do drumsticks with half Kosmos hot dirty bird and half with Big Poppa Smokers Desert Gold.
I really need to start selling rubs because the frequency in which you guys shell out $5-$10 for a rub that is comprised of $1-$2 in herbs & spices is mind-bottling.
I dunno man That chicken has too many damn promotional messages on it Would have been OK if they hadn't said "California raised"
i’ve toured a facility and it really is a simple process marketing is the hardest part of the process
My buddy from growing up sells a shit load of rubs. Have never had his food so I do not know of it is worth it. But it really is an easy market to get into.
The ingredients are going to be relatively cheap in rubs, but it’s all about the sales and marketing costs. Additionally, I doubt many of the small guys have their own manufacturing facilities, so they use co-packers which further cut into the margin.
So the best part is when I figured out which way the bones went. You can see when I moved the probe. I’m a moron but it’s always helpful to be reminded
I will say that Hardcore Black is an exception to my previous comment. Not much else on the market like it.
hot damn that looks amazing! i have two plates in the freezer right now. may need to break one out soon after this...
