Might be the best game mode ever, yes even better than Ultimate Team if you factor you can use your pro online and play club. Anyway I have a few questions: What level did you start in?? Did you guys go directly to a big team or chose a smaller team?? What camera do you use? Did anybody do the face recognition?? How hard is it?? TIA
Yes, I created a guy the same size as me but was too lazy to do the Face thing. He is a Sweeper. I started him out on a small team. Sounders FC cause their jerseys are sick. I am still on the reserve team after Match Day 8 but have moved up to the 3rd ranking or whatever (forgot what it is called). I use the default angle for Be A Pro. The one that follows your player from behind. I like it when you are sprinting with the ball, makes it feel real.
I made a guy the same size as me, and put him as a CAM for Everton. Currently on the reserves but working my way up. Only wish they had a better outline of how much better they're getting as you play
I messed up. I created my guy (took a long time to make him look like me) and then saw that he was rated 70 or something so I figured I could go to a shitty team and possibly start so I picked Leeds United. I scored twice in my first game and was feeling then I realized I was playing for the reserves. I am going to start over and play either for Real as a CF (to replace Raul) or for Chelsea as a LM (to replace Malouda).
Can't you just switch the team your pro plays for at a whim? Where do you go to play with your pro offline? Do you gain skill points for completing accomplishments while playing offline? Does the "form" bar when viewing your pro indicate his gains in skill from accomplishments, or is that something extra/separate?
got called up to the Ajax first team after 7 games. had 12 goals and 4 assists(the only 4 goals scored by the rest of the team :l). hoping to go to a bigger club after the season
Play for Norwich City. My guy is rated a 73 and is the highest rated player on the team by a couple of points. I set my position at RCM, but Norwich has me playing CAM. Finished all the accomplishments in the Arena and most of the basic ones. I'm only 5 games in to my Norwich City season, but my Pro has already been awarded at least 5 skill upgrades, so it seems like that is the most effective way to lvl up your player. You just don't touch the ball enough to make a lot of gains in Pro Club Championship. Now to the camera angle. I haven't been able to settle on a view and it is really starting to fuck me up. I want to do tele b/c that's what I've done on FIFA for 10+ years now, but it is difficult to be extremely precise with any given player and it seems like maybe you'd have more control over the individual in the Be a Pro view. What view are you guys using?
what mode ? be a pro? im doing manager mode, and my virtual pro started with the first team from the beginning
I just use what camera angle the game give as default. But I hate it. Anyone have a better camera angle to use?
I have started using Tele (default) and I am doing much better. Sucks when you go completely out of frame though (not very often, mostly on set pieces). I guess you could also play a zoomed out version of tele so you never go out of focus. Also, I did the free kick in the arena both ways (by pressing up with the directional button and by practicing a set piece) and I did not get the achievement/skill for that anybody can help??
I had to zoom out on my tele view because I don't use the radar (it annoys the shit out of me) and my guy is still caught of screen a good bit. But it's strange, I'm starting to get a feel for my guy off screen by just playing a bunch and knowing where he likes to set himself up. I've been thinking about switching back to Be a Pro camera but if everyone is going this direction maybe I'll stay, still haven't resolved this. As for the free kicks, you just have to line up right outside the box and you have to press up (set pieces mode does not work for the accomplishments). Then don't push anything but shoot. He will be lined up straight and will curl it in far side. After you score a goal like that, then set yourself up again and score a free kick with a direct low shot. To score this way you have to hold LB or RB (don't remember which) while shooting and he will drive it home. Same thing as before, you don't even have to change the angle, he always sets up for the perfect angle especially for a driven ball.
