Dehydrators cost as much as a handful of bags.

One of my old coworkers makes some jabenero and dr pepper marinade that is ridiculous. He refuses to give out the recipe though.

Growing up a butcher shop called Beef Palace in HB, CA is right next to a Thrifty. Nothing like being 10 years old and getting a Thrifty ice cream cone and then sitting on the cows and then crushing some beef jerky from Beef Palace.
Anyone ever had deer jerky? This guy that worked at the last college I worked at made some one time and brought it over and it was interesting.
If I can find it and get the link I’ll post it. Some dude around here makes Jerky with burnt ends. It’s insanely good

Don't need a dehydrator or an oven. Just a box fan, some paper A/C filters, and some bungee cords.
My dad makes big batches on his smoker. It is very good. I don’t usually buy any jerky for this reason. I do buy a shit load of meat/beef sticks. I eat a lot more sticks than jerky.
