#7 The Breaking Point
What is this?
What's it about?
Where can I watch it? (bored at work)
I already knew why they fought. We learned that shit in 6th grade.
However, I didn't know how or when the soldiers of the 101st reached the breaking point.
So, episode 7 suitably entitled, "The Breaking Point" brought the best combination of cinematic excellence and enlightenment.
This is not opinion, this is factual information.
Commercials during Band of Brothers is fucking lame.
They are all on HBO on Demand in their unedited glory.
Should of read the book. You would of known all of it.
yeah i would have, but i di'int
also lip's narration and seeing the characters in their fullest development (after watching them grow up throughout the series) lends to Episode 7's greatness
after 7, like 2/3rds of the characters are dead.
Only the first five are on HBO On Demand. So now I have to wait. This sucks.
Were you spongeworthy on the RB?
Anyway, as someone who has seen BofB about 10000000 times, here is how I would rank the episodes:
1. 7-Breaking Point
2. 2-Day of Days
6. 8-The Last Patrol
9. 9-Why We Fight
You can't really go wrong watching any of them tho. If you loved the series tho, the book is a must read.
yeah I was.
is this the one that focuses on doc roe? or is that bastogne? i get them mixed up.
i approve UA's list
I could watch them all day everday. breaking point is probably the best one.
the book is even better and has a lot of little stories that didnt make it into the series. citizen soldiers is a solid read as well. I havent read it, but I heard the dick winters book is worth checking out also.
7 focuses on Lipton dealing with the incompetence of Lt. Dike.
yea i couldnt get them straight
best miniseries ever
I HAVE FOUND SUFFICIENT CAUSE ITT TO PROCLAIM THAT MY VIEWS ARE VINDICATED AND YOU ARE WRONG, USER UA412
You trust these guys? They don't know what they're talking about.
i got a link to the whole series on the net, if anyone wants to watch.
all the episodes are now up on HBO demand.
How many seasons have there been and is it worth watchin them all?
there are ten epsiodes
hmm hasn't it been on since like 05 or something though? Or was that a movie?
No. It was a ten episode mini-series that ran in 2001 or 2002 I think. I've had the DVD boxset since I was in 8th grade so it's been a while since it aired. I'd highly recommend watching it tho, and reading the book.
