Underrated aspect of whataburger....they almost never mess up your order. Seems to be one of the few fast pod joints that actually gives a fuck.
So you honestly think every person who eats at Whataburger semi-regularly thinks that it is the best fast-food burger? Is that really the angle you are taking? And that same lame argument works just as well for In-N-Out, Culver's, Fatburger, etc.
Texans love Whataburger and it is the GOAT fast-food burger. The fact that In-N-Out's are sprouting up in Texas left and right is purely coincidental.
Culver's isn't bad, though I'm not in love with their burgers. It's your typical Wisconsin meal where you feel like you're going to have a heart attack halfway through it.
For those that are unaware of cheese curds, they're like mozzarella sticks with more delicious, deep fried surface area.

The 90-minute waits were a coinky-dink too. To be honest, In-N-Out isn't even my favorite. I've become quite addicted to The Hat lately - love me a pastrami burger.

I guess, I usually don't have that problem. Then again, I stay away from McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, etc. In So Cal there's really no reason to get a burger from any of the shittier national chains.
Also can't wait to hear dump's take on it since he prefers Whataburger to Texas' delicious local burger joints.
I've lived in Texas off-and-on for about 10 years of my life and I don't recall many people raving about Whataburger's burgers. The breakfast yes, the chicken fingers, yes.

Also, I think Dairy Queen would give Whataburger a run in the Texas market as far as favorite fast-food burgers if we are really going to argue about a poll that would never be conducted.
I've lived here all my life and I can't remember a time when many of the people I was around didn't especially enjoy their burgers. Anecdotal evidence is fun.
never been to whataburger but their burgers look exactly like bk's... probably tastes alright but cmon there are far better options
