If you frequent a whataburger, and prefer any fast food burger in Texas over a #5 or an A-1, I don't even know what to say. There is literally nothing available in Texas (besides the In-and-outs in Dallas) that comes close to WB
They have a Jake's in Plano right? Think we talked about this before and I think I've heard of that place. My brother/sister in law live in Grand Prairie which is why I've been to Patty Shack, rest of the fam McKinney. "Dallas" area sounds easy enough but it's pretty damn spread out all things considered.
Me too. It's just that it's right on the other side of this epic shitfest of traffic from me and I just can't motivate myself enough to go through that for a burger.

Yeah, got some when I was in Chicago for Thanksgiving right before driving to Ann Arbor for The Game. So good.
Yeah, they have them all over. Just google 'Jake's Hamburgers locations". They're all over they place... Parker Road in Plano. Not from Dallas, but live here. I live right by Jake's in Uptown. Eat that ish about every weekend.
And it represents a complete drop in the bucket as far as the population of Texas is concerned. No one is arguing that posters on this board from Texas don't like Whataburger, so once again, another completely irrelevant point you've made.

god damn I live off of Parker and had no idea there was a Jake's. there's a Gazeebo about 1 mile to the west and a Burger House about .5 mile to the east, so I don't get much further past those

I go to the one in uptown before going out sometimes, that's the only Jake's I've been to. jltman raves about this JG's place, I'm gonna have to try that

team whataburger. if you're talking about the place in the depot district then i'm pretty sure they're still there. haven't been in a while but it's possibly the best drunk food i've ever had
Yeah, they have some decent drink specials for watching a game and plus, it's in a perfect area for just going out afterwards...LOTS of fine poon in these parts.
Yeah, definitely was in the Depot district. I was drunk as hell, so I was just hoping that it wasn't a dream. I think I got harder from those tacos than the chick I left the bar with that night.
Twisted Root is delicious Jakes is also good. Burger House has the best seasoning. Angry Dog also has wonderful burgers
Good. Like I said to houtex I was hoping that it wasn't an elaborate dream. Only other drunk food I've had that was comparable was from a gyro truck by the Hilton on 53rd street in Manhattan.
