I'm jelly. They are like 11.99 here and go on sale for 7-8.99 time to time, but we only have one store that sells them (unless wal mart does) So we get gouged.
No, no, no, absolutely not. Home Run Inn is the worst pizza I've ever had. It's the only pizza I can remember intentionally, or even unintentionally, never finishing. It's been two years, but I can still remember that bland styrofoam taste in my mouth. Wholly terrible.
The Screamin' Sicilian pizzas are good, but my wife does not like the sauce. However, the Home Run Inn pizzas are incredible. Best frozen pizza I've ever had, hands down. Sadly, my local grocery store stopped stocking them last year for some reason. They were on clearance at the end for $4.99 and loaded up, but we're out now.
Where are you located? I saw they're from the Chicago area, and i'm in SW Ohio, so maybe distance is a factor? I do live in an area that has a Kroger, WalMart and Meijer within a few square miles, and they all have them.
This is blowing my mind. I eat a lot of pizza, and have been doing so for a long time, and I've never tasted anything worse.
huh, I'm 60 miles from Chicago in Michigan lol. My go to store is our local "nice" chain so that has some to do with it, they are a dollar more on everything.
For some reason I thought you lived in California now, I was mistaken. Yeah, not sure why you'd have to pay so much. I ain't complaining. When they were introduced they were like 10 bucks, but they've come down off them considerably.
I always go thin, but yeah HRI is consistently "rated" really high. Wonder if you got a bad one or something. Also don;t ask why I have googled frozen pizza rankings.
Thoughts on these? My go to cheap frozen pizza. Always 2-3 bucks at Kroger. It's like the perfect combination of tasty and cheap. Vastly superior to Totinos.
I ate so many Tony's pepperoni pizzas ages in high school & college. Burnt my mouth every time because I wouldn't let them cool down. I had one a few years ago and the crust was different, wasn't a fan.
I remember on an episode of MTV Cribs when Jermaine Dupri said if you don't eat Tombstone Pizza, you're not a big dog. Since I want to ensure I maintain big dog status, I've eaten Tombstone ever since.
It is tasty. That's one that seems to cost more than it should around here. It's usually $3.99-4.99. Yeah, it's not for everyone. I've had friends who weren't big fans.
Really good, big fan. Definitely keep it in the max recommend time to give the crust the advertised crunch.
Yeah I got confused, we have those here too and I will be buying. It was the delicious chicken pizza on the last page I thought you were talking about. I need to try both.
My college roommate used to buy the cheap ass store brand pizzas and dump about a half a bag of shredded cheddar cheese on them to make them palatable
Does anyone else add their own cheese/toppings to the pizza? Sometimes there are ones with spots of just sauce and i add cheese or extra pepperoni.
