This is less of a question, more of a comment, but I had a connection at that airport once. Was unimpressed.
First bar I went to didn’t have outlets at the bar or any of the tables. Pass. As I walked to another bar, I passed auntie annes. Got a free sample. The other bar was Mexican food which I’m not in the mood for. So I went back towards my gate and passed auntie Anne’s. Got another free sample. Now I’m at a bar by my gate. They have outlets at the bar. Bartender is very nice. Mickeys in aluminum bottles. Pizza seems to be the only meal item. 6.4/10 airport experience
What are you flying? I feel like I don’t recognize that area. I only flew southwest and United when in tampa. How long did security take? Never longer than three mins for me with precheck. I made it from my kitchen to my gate in 16 minutes on one occasion (lived by international mall).
The haters keep telling me I won’t have two more aluminum bottle mickeys before my flight boards in 31 minutes
How much will you spend at Taco Bell at your destination devine? 941Gator since you’ll be in Cabo, same question.
I have a bunch of Southwest drink coupons that are about to expire, I would have given them all to you I love Southwest, or maybe it's just Love Field & flying into smaller airports. Their drink menu is awful though
I went to get an aisle seat but a bag was there. I moved the bag and sat down. “Someone’s sitting there”. “Oh really have they already been on and they’re in the bathroom?” “Yes” Survey says that was a lie!
They just remodeled Terminal 3 and it's much nicer than 4 (albeit not nearly as many options since it's smaller). Flying Delta or JetBlue used to be awful because the only restaurants and bars were a horrible, even by airport standards, Mexican restaurant and a Wendy's. It was the worst terminal I'd ever been in at a major airport. I believe they are remodeling the other side of it currently and will be moving the United and various tiny airlines that currently utilize 2 over and will close that. 2 was very close to being as bad as the old 3 except a local brewery opened there in the past few years.
They let me take glass bottles of MGD on the flight with me in Dublin. I bought them right outside the gate. I assume they've weighed the risks of someone smashing a bottle and using it as a shank, but being able to get drunk on a plane outweighs that risk for the Irish.
John Glenn international airport in Columbus. With pre-check and checking a bag, I can be from blue lot to gate in 20 minutes on a Monday morning
Well looks like I’m connecting in San Antonio always. devine I'm taking back my like for you withholding this detail.
I get irrationally angry on any flight before 9AM when people don't put down their window shades. Hey thanks jerk, none of us were trying to sleep at all on this flight...
I love pulling down the shade when someone is trying to look out. I’m an asshole. Edit: except for a kid. I wouldn’t do that to a kid.
I like looking out the window. It was shortly after takeoff on a flight leaving Tulsa last year, the city where i have lived for the majority of my life, where i learned that we in fact have one Dairy Queen in town. That's valuable information that i would not have had i shut my window.
