Wenger on Manchester United: "Let's not got overboard. They had a very experienced midfield and spent a lot of money." LOL at this fuck
I'm now hoping for a 3rd place finish (w/ Leicester winning obv) and an FA cup trophy to send Wenger out. It's time. I want to see a coach that will actually change tactics from time to time.
But he's such a proper Brit Midfield has been awful since Santi got hurt, team is incapable of creating outside of Ozil
Said the aim was for Barca 2nd leg. Guess we'll see what Elneny is made of, not optimistic about anything right now.
Team was just thrown out there with no plan/tactics. Wenger isn't a game day manager. Wish he'd take over development/scouting role at the club and let another manager take over.
Just saying, all 3 of their goals were preventable. Gabriel defended like Andre Santos today. Showed zero composure and an 18 year old with no experience bent him over. Was pissed at Kos kicking the ball out early in the 2nd half too, we're down 1 in a title race and he goes and wastes 2 minutes coddling Rashford because he was kicked in the balls. Anyone other than Cech as the next captain is a horrible decision.
We've also mostly given it out mostly for the wrong reasons. Have never really had a consistent player like him that's also a great leader and professional.
Well I really hope Santi has something left in the tank. He was so healthy and good for so long. Love the little guy.
I'm loving all the "oh if only the boy was healthy" hot takes that's like saying if ace's mother wasn't promiscuous she'd be loyal
Bottom line, the final third is garbage with arguably the best 10 in the world. I don't think there is any other way to slice it. And fuck do I long for Jack at the pivot. Do I think he could win us shit? No, but he would be a smoother transition/direction in the mid. Desperately need to add to the attack this summer. Everything up top is good, we need something that's great.
Maybe I'm being harsh but Ramsey reminds me of Nasri/Adebayor in he gave us 6 amazing months and the rest of his career has been incredibly inconsistent. I'm fine with Coquelin but he needs a world class playmaker next to him to get the ball upfield. We'll probably add a mid this summer and an attacker, enough to get us 3rd/4th behind City/Pep and Chelsea or Man U. I've accepted blowing the title this year, not gonna get too angry till Wenger signs an extension and/or adds nothing this summer.
Guessing tomorrow is --------Giroud-- -Alexis--Ozil--Theo-- --Ramsey--Coq And I have no optimism in us winning
What I'd like to see tomorrow. ----------Giroud Welbz--Özil---Ramsey ---elneny -----Coq Have Walcott and Alexis on the bench if needed.
Santi Cazorla– Verified account @19SCazorla Surprised by the piece of news appeared in press, deadlines are going as planned. I will be ready on 1st April. #workinghard 4:52 AM - 2 Mar 2016 Hope it's not too late by then.
you know it's bad, but then you see stats like this... Orbinho @Orbinho 40s40 seconds ago Arsenal have scored 18 goals in 13 Premier League home games this season.
Last few mins sums us up perfectly. Amazing buildup but no end product. Even Alexis has been infected.
Umm that wasn't a foul on Özil? And what was Per doing there? He just stood there while the ball went by him to the dude that scored.
Giroud is such shit right now. Giving it away, falling over for maybe fk's... Stand up and fight, christ. Team is like an overamped 6 year old, all sorts of running and craziness, no cohesion
A balance too, having inverted forward/winger types on the outside gives a lot of natural movement and space for Ozil to move into. Ox is a one trick pony and Theo just looks like ass
Every game there's 3-4 players that are just absolute shit. Giroud, Bellerin, and Per taking the prize today.
