Allegri’s been taking English lessons, probably with eyes on the ManU job. I worry about giving the job for the rest of the season to Freddie, because he’s probably not ready for it and a poor performance could spoil his chances down the road. Pretty sure Ten Haag told Bayern he wouldn’t move during the season.

Well this is depressing, should really boost attendance at the Emirates. Sucks to be out on a season barely into November but this team ain’t worth 2 hours of my weekend. Guess we’ll find out how much “noise” they’re willing to put up with or maybe Emery will figure out something that’s at least watchable
The fans at the Stadium need to walk out after 10 or 15 minutes and just stop going. Probably won’t happen but that would be fun to see. Either way I imagine the Emirates will be half empty for the rest of the season. And I agree I just don’t see the point to devoting two hours to this pathetic display of football every weekend. It’s so depressing.

I'm operating as if the Ornstein piece is mere lip-service from the execs. I don't expect them to show their cards, and they should present unified support, but I pray this is a smokescreen & there is a plan in place.
I can’t see that happening the way we set up in the game today. It’s just not realistic. Palace has a better shot at 4th IMO.
Things are bleak, but it's a long season. It's certainly apparent to all that Emery isn't the long-term answer. There really isn't any good short-term solution. As much as we'd all be okay with Freddie taking over as caretaker, he has no support-staff. We could promote from the youth coaches, but they might not be qualified, coupled with it leaving the Academy short. I'd rather Raul & Edu take some time vet the situation and act over the summer. More targets will be available & it has a better chance of yielding good outcome. I fear if we fired him now, we've be locked-in for another 2-3 year deal with another coach that isn't up to the challenge.
