I literally look forward to Monday because of this show.

There is nothing on TV right now that has as good of production as BCS

 

This show is just so wonderful.

 

Any guess as to what Kim found when looking at the pictures from inside Kevin's house? Is that cowboy riding a horse silhouette being used for Mesa Verde promos some kind of copyright infringement?

Yea, my guess is the image he uses as his logo is from one of those hotel paintings the PI was talking about.

The Afterbuzz podcast had some super deep obscure catch this week about the fountain. The level of detail in the writing is just insane.
Compare that to another favorite show of mine like the office where they literally change names and actors and just expect people to go with it.

 

I just started rewatching BB and this was from the episode where Jesse needed money for the RV. I noticed the green Mesa and was like wait a minute

 

Verde is green. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk.

 

Mesa Verde is also a national park located in Colorado very near the New Mexico border

They set us up. We thought we saw the beginning of the end. But they took us further away from what we think we know happens eventually.

 

I am so nervous to find out what Saul does to truly break their relationship.

Was just thinking, isn’t there something in the law that can’t compel you to testify against your husband? That might be why she suggested getting married. If they are married then they can keep up the tricks together and not have to testify against one another.

 

Awesome episode. Young Kim was perfect, Saul, Kim, and Mike nailed it too

 

I think what you're thinking of is that a husband and wife can't be prosecuted for the same crime

 

This is undoubtedly correct.

 

Darkest prediction that comes to my mind, Kim is irretrievably furious about jimmy "making her the sucker". She offered the real option, this has to be over. The marriage offer is about playing jimmy as a sucker if he doesn't recognize how much he's missed between them.

She may think his love for her is his weakness, maybe that she is just gonna beat him legally in any divorce through hard work and fair play, maybe that she'll get dirty and maybe beat him that way. Or perhaps worse, go dirty and get beat, hopefully not to Belize. Maybe Saul hustles in BB cause he's got massive alimony or child support payments from an ex-wife who never wants to see him and vice versa, present and alive but no problems if she's not seen in BB. One more reason for Saul to want a new identity.

Sorry to ramble, I love the show, trust where it's going, never a doubt. Thanks for being a hopefully gentle outlet, usually it's just my friends who catch these stupid thoughts and stop me from posting something stupid on the internet.

 

This is correct. It's called spousal privilege.

 

The problem is it doesn’t protect communications made to plan or commit a crime or fraud and the protections start at marriage. So they wouldn’t be covered for any of their hijinks so far

Great episode. So much in an hour.

 

I may have recency bias, I may have smoked some slightly illegal drugs tonight and drank a couple beers but think I'm way more attached to these characters than in breaking bad.

 

Phenomenal episode.

 

I won't go that far, but Lalo is one of my favorite bad guys in the two shows.

 

Man, 7 years since BB ended did not help Lydia out at all.

 

I remember being way more on edge at times in BB than I ever am with this show. There were some pretty big moments with a ton of tension (Hank in the parking lot, Jesse going to shoot those two drug dealers come to mind off the top of my head). But I love this show a lot more

 

She was stuffed into that outfit lol but I still loved her line about how people get shivved/shanked all the time in prison. Classic Lydia.

 

I like when Gus was setting up the fryer for that explosion he took out one of the baskets and was checking the bottom of it to see how clean it was. haha

 

Another BB reference at the hotel. The floors are heated, the controls are under the light switch. Ted said that to skyler once.

 

And yes, that was a fantastic episode. Touched on a lot of arcs
