When Kim confronted Lalo in jail wondering where Jimmy was, didn't Lalo say something to the effect of "don't worry about Jimmy, he's a survivor"
I really love it when characters that have been around for a while meet for the first time like that.
It's pretty clear from watching Talking Saul that was exactly what they wanted us to do. The writers played everything perfectly with Howard's character.
I thought Howard was going to come at Jimmy and Kim was going to give him a shove that sent him into the corner of the counter or something like that.
It was interesting that the guy playing Howard was actually told to tone it down a little, that Howard wasn't supposed to be an outright bad guy. Thought they did such a good job having him straddle the line between sympathetic/hateable
Also, Lalo’s call to Hector ended up taking Mike’s guys off of Kim and Jimmy? Or had they already been pulled back and I missed it?
the scheme playing out was making me legitimately nervous. just masterfully done. and holy shit at that ending.
This is how I took it. I think Nacho and Jimmy were the main (only?) two guys Lalo used this side of the border to make things happen
Saul is terrified of Lalo 3 years from this and tells Walt and Jesse that it was Nacho in the desert. I’m trying to square that with Lalo talking to them on this night.
I watched Hawkeye this winter before binging BCS this year ahead of the new season. It’s quite the transition seeing Tony dalton play a lovable goofball in Hawkeye to maybe the best tv villain of all time in this role. That’s range right there
Truck stop gas stations these days have nice showers, laundromats, & pretty decent buffets. I was pleasantly surprised by the buffet.
