Jimmy is one slick motherfucker. Guessing with the impending fuck up by HHM, Chuck finally goes further off the deep end & ends up in an asylum or suicide.
chuck said in the sneak preview that he has to "clear the air" with Kim and Jimmy, only 2 episodes left so could be some big stuff. Howard thinks the world of Chuck, but after he see's the fuck up things could be trending the other way. Also, i wonder if jimmy will even tell Kim what he did to cause the fuck up considering she wants everything to be by the book, or will he just let it happen cause she will be happy she supposedly gets mesa verde back
I hope he doesn't tell her, but based on Jimmy's history of fucking himself in the ass, I bet she finds out.
Thought it was another disappointing episode. Season is ending yet Jimmy's storyline is as bland as ever.
The opening scene was vintage breaking bad, excited to learn what that was about. Also, I'm guessing I'm in the minority on this, but i find myself not caring about mike's story line all that much.
I'm enjoying the show very much but would like to go ahead and see Jimmy move on. Not because I'm bored with the show just that there is a lot of seemingly gold material for Saul Goodman as we know him from BB. I'm hoping the show ends when Walt is waiting in his office but I'm starting to fear it will end the moment he fully becomes Saul, and this show will just be a lead up.
Well that was helpful. I'm guessing the truck showed up again. It was probably in one of the scenes where mike was quietly sitting alone on the dark which, like I said, didn't hold my interest.
yes it showed up at a store and a few moments after Hector Salamanca showed up at that same store. Mike is sitting there because he plans shit down to every little detail. Its not up to me to decide if you enjoy that or not but its very true to his character.
No I liked the first scene quite a bit and watched the whole episode. I just missed when the truck showed up again. There are probably a few reasons why I missed it, one of them being that Mike's story hasn't been holding my interest for a couple episodes now.
I get it. I actually did rewind that scene because I realized I wasn't paying attention and probably missed something. I saw hector getting out of the car when I hit the replay button so I figured that was it.
I'm not sure why all the hate on the pace of the show. We all know how it ends, that's the problem most of you have, you are too eager for him to become Saul. Think about the reason BB was so awesome, the development of Walt from meek cancer ridden high school teacher to meth lord. If they took Jimmy to Saul within the first couple of seasons, you lose the reason and process of the transformation. Then everyone would be bitching that every episode was about Saul meeting a sketchy client and pulling off something unethical to get them off.
I don't have a problem with the show because of the pace. My problem is that the storylines have been very underwhelming. If you want to compare this show to Breaking Bad, then remember how awesome BBS2 was. Walt was still in the beginning of his character transformation but the show was terrific because there was great drama. The kidnapping/shootout with Tuco, the detailed look the show gave us of the entire Meth business from cooking to street sales, Saul's intro to the show and his plan to get Badger off, getting stranded in the desert with the RV, meeting Gus, etc. The season was awesome not because of any transformation Walt was making but because the plot was fantastic.
Can't argue with any of that other than to say consider the setting and surrounding plot. Making meth vs legal career. Obviously the meth world is going to far more exciting than a legal career initially. I think the real payoff is going to be in the 3rd season.
One show is about a lawyer the other is about a drug dealer. Its alright that you find the storylines underwhelming. I for one think the storylines are as expected at this point.
I thought Monday's episode was one of the best of the series. I think some of you just want to watch seasons 3-5 of breaking bad on repeat.
Pretty sure its to fuck up the tires either on the truck or Salamancas car. I think the truck is the most likely though.
Saw this on Rivals: NewReddit found this...episode titles for this season (similar to season 2 episode titles of BB foreshadowing the 747 down over ABQ) Check out what the first letter of the episode titles spells Fifi Rebecca Inflatable Nailed Gloves Off Switch Bali Ha'i (R A V O) Amarillo Cobbler Klick
It would make perfect sense that Mike is the guy that marginalizes Salamanca, and that this at once opens the market for Fring, and links Mike to him.
The episodes with the black and white openings showing debris and whatnot around Walter's house were titled... Seven Thirty-Seven Down Over ABQ As for these episode titles for season 2 of BCS, they're out of order. So it would be an anagram of the first letters of each episode. Is it possible? Sure. But I'm not going to bank on an appearance by Gus this season.
What BIC said except wanted to note they didn't spell it out but those 4 titles he broke down were episodes that had a black and white open
i wouldn't say i like him, but i don't think he's a bad guy, especially after it was revealed that chuck was the one behind screwing jimmy over
so storm knocked my satellite out, any of you watch via streaming? if so how long until they are available on amc.com?
You can call this nitpicking but I had some issues with the episode last night. First of all: Who didn't know that was Mike under the mask? It was clear he was making a spike strip of some kind. (Yeah I know, he didn't want the guy to see him but still the way they filmed the scene it's like OH WHO IS IT?" How did Mike just walk right up to the driver and stick a gun in his ear? Not like there's anywhere to hide out there in the middle of nowhere. (besides the big sign he parked behind up the road) Saul and Ernie/Chuck both visit the 24/7 copy/fax place on the same exact night? And somehow miss each other? Thank god Kim became all knowing there at the last second and sparked the whole thing. Chuck doesn't conk out at HHM or in court but I guess somehow all those copiers were too much for him to take? Also, after taking the money from the cartel Mike didn't seem very Mike like. Out flinging money around buying drinks on the house acting like he's having a jolly old time? If he wanted the police to find the guy he left why didn't he ring them like he did earlier before the Tuco beatdown and hang up? Then again.. who in their right mind sees a wrecked vehicle with a guy taped up on the ground and takes the tape off the guy without calling the police first? This is Cartel territory. Who the fuck knows what went down there? Are we living in the Fargo universe? Maybe I'm unclear on this one but did Mike ever successfully get the gun charges filed against himself? Hector stopped giving a shit about that? or just didn't know he hadn't done it yet? Seems like he still had plenty to worry about. Also, Hector knows Mike is an ex-cop and a wily son of a bitch. Yet Nacho is the only one who came to this conclusion? It's plausible I guess.. Nacho knows him better but still. It honestly pains to me to have issues with this show but nonetheless there's definitely some liberties taken here to move the plot along.. sort of 2nd rate at times.
It shouldnt pain you. Seeing that most of your problems seem to come from you not watching the show. Saul rolls up to the copy place and sees earnie in there and quickly hides the car. waits for him to leave and the goes in there to talk to the guy. Chuck colapsed right after the Mesa Verde folks left the building an ep or two ago. Mike made the gun problem go away. told the cops it was his gun. i dont get whats wrong with him wearing a skimask and i def didnt think they tried to make it seem like it wasnt Mike.
I think if anything I watch the show too closely. Of-course he saw Ernie there. I'm not blind and dumb. The sequence of events was just a little too tied together. Ok. so Chuck had collapsed before. True. Just a little too fitting he conks out and knocks his head with his brother standing right across the street. Did Mike make the gun thing go away? He told the cops that day with Saul and all they did was scoff at it and they knew he had been provoked and bribed. So it was kind of unclear if they did anything or not. They kept pressing and him and Saul just got up and left.
How would the cops build a case on it being tuco's gun if Mike says its not? I doubt he'd need to do more to make that part of it all go away.
