This is true for right now, and likely for the foreseeable future. For that matter UT cant shake Baylor either. If you have a 7 year time horizon though the politics can shake up a lot. Thats why OU is the lynch pin, but they aren't going anywhere either.
Pac-12 network revenue issues likely true... But cord cutters can still bring in $$$ (see NETFLIX, Hulu, HBO, etc etc etc) Larry Scott and co need to stop being stupid/stubborn and adapt to the market. Also the idea of any Pac-12 team bailing for another conference is hilarious.
7 schools who have played in bcs/ New Years 6 bowls too. Plus Tech who hadn't but is clearly the prom queen here.
Bowlsby pushing to expand. http://www.vanquishthefoe.com/2016/...ll-big-12-expansion-bob-bowlsby-pro-expansion
Brett McMurphy @McMurphyESPN 22m22 minutes ago ACC Network will launch by August 2019 & ACC extends conference grant of rights thru 2036, sources told @ESPN
There will be a digital network launching next month, full version in 2019, after ESPN's current carriage agreements have expired.
I do love a nice PAC 12 night cap with a 10 or 11 PM EST kickoff, but heaven knows most of the rest of the east coast couldn't care less.
Hopefully the Big 12 expands by 2 and takes Cincy because rumor is we are next in line for the AAC if they lose a team.
per the latest trotter tweet, Big12 looking to expand immediately and add schools that could participate in time for the 2017 football season
Add four teams. Cincy, Houston, UCF, USF. Done. Loads of potential there and great for tv markets (although Houston is already there in the Big 12 footprint).
Earlier today, Kansas State coach Bill Snyder said he knows there are two schools who want back into the Big 12. Which 2 are the question. Colorado and Nebraska? Missouri and Nebraska? Missouri and Colorado?
Kick out Baylor, bring back Nebrask and Colorado, add Houston and Arizona schools and then we on a ultralight beam we on a ultralight beam, this is a GFA dream, this is a GFA dream
Another option is to add comically far away schools from coast to coast and emphasize the absurdity of this whole fucking thing so that everyone just comes together under one umbrella and signs one big ass tv contract and go back to regional competition
Lots of money and after we eviscerate Baylor we need another Texas destination for us recruit poor schools
adding tcu was enough to dilute the talent pool in texas to critical levels let's not add a commuter college with zero fanbase to the mix
