This will not end until the SEC has consumed every team from every conference, rendering the NCAA a dead entity. It will be divided into four sub-conferences, each with four sub-divisions within each sub-conference. Fans will chant SEC-SEC and SEC-PAC and SEC-B1G and SEC-ACC at all their games.
i will still see you in the P12 championship game (two best teams make the title game B12 style [also for sex])
The cunty Pac-8 in one division shielded from the riffraff in the other is best option for the Pac-12.
unc isn’t leaving the acc for better or worse and we’ll almost assuredly have to bring nc state with us if we do actually leave
As a Big Ten fan I think I want the Manhattan audience that Kansas State brings us over the Manhattan audience Rutgers brings us.
One of our (often wrong) “insiders” claims the B1G is trying to move on Oregon, Colorado, USC and UCLA. I would absolutely love it, which means it won’t happen.
This is a dying sport. Another round of CTE reporting should kill it for good. This is just rearranging deck chairs on the titanic.
5 years ago when I was closer to this stuff , The big has to stay land locked so look at a map and figure it out . The goal was always some sort of unc, uva, Georgia tech combo but I am certain Colorado and Kansas are on the table now 18 is the ultimate endgame for the conferences with divisions , set up like the nfl eventually
This is dumb to me. The B1G should figure out a way to partner with the Pac 12 and help stabilize that league as opposed to picking off random schools and creating a super-conference that goes from one coast to the other. What does the B1G gain from that?
That was when they started their network and it wasn't a disaster yet. That deal falling through was pretty much the first sign of Larry Scott not being what the media was portraying him to be because he made that deal without the support of the schools.
I'll never know why she left me for the funny, good looking, rich guy with a huge dick. Some mysteries remain unsolved.
I’d normally agree, especially considering the source. I’ve seen it a couple other unrelated places though (mentions of the Pac12 but not specific schools).
Yea I think those 4 specific schools are the reach. A partnership with the Pac 12? for sure. The Big10 needs to find a footprint with a growing population for media purposes.
If we’re sticking with AAU schools, I’d have to imagine Arizona and Washington would be pretty attractive.
