everything about this man says he should have stroked out by now but he will end up living 20 more years
FFS we hear so many stories of “I make $500k annually and live paycheck to paycheck” yet we go with means testing of course.
Isn't it something like 60% of the country that lives paycheck to pay check???? People need to stop caving to these right wing corrupt pieces of shit like Manchin and Sinema. Sick of this man
I really wanna hand these pieces of shit guns and make them go fight in these dumb ass wars. Blood thirsty monsters
it is like they time when the Border isn’t active enough for drone coverage to pivot back to Afghanistan coverage
Def don't cover the Republicans literally attempting to crash the economy, def don't cover Obviously corrupt politicians Sinema and Manchin trying to fuck over Millions of people. Clearly those things aren't worth coverage.
And next on the program is General Fuckface on why we should keep doing war. Does nobody realize what they're doing publishing this shit? Complicit media is complicit
Correct, they’re human garbage too. It’s amazing how corrupt and disgusting all these mother fuckers from politicians, to the corporations to the media are. Just human garbage hell bent on destroying everything for money
The worst of the lot imo are the book writers like Leonnig, Rucker, Woodward, Costa, etc. They have sources in every corner of DC. It's hard to imagine that they didn't know in real time what was going on behind the scenes in the Trump admin, but they have to keep it under wraps until they can get on the NYT bestseller list.
“Quick, find the music man to sing show tunes to the President.” I’d like to make a joke regarding this and Mayor Pete not being the first gay president.
Guarantee you that before she started writing she got an AirBNB on the shore of a quaint New England beach in a small town, put on an oversized sweater, put her hair in a messy bun, cupped a large mug of coffee between two hands, and took in a deep breath of the crisp salty air.
Oh, you know. You know. Spoiler Her stupid fashy ass sat down and wrote a shitty book. Wink wink, finger guns.
No. Just no. She gave someone some stories and sat back to collect the royalty checks after someone ghost-wrote the book for her. None of these insider assholes writes their own books.
Am I out of my mind thinking that one reason a governing body should exist is to be able to stop Corporations like Zillow from doing what they’re doing?

The investigation revealed that the judges have heard 685 cases in which they or their family owned stock since 2010. Of those cases, two-thirds were decided in favor of the party that the judges or their families had a financial interest in. In some cases, the judges made stock trades while the proceedings were going on. Federal judges are required to recuse themselves from any case in which they have "ownership of a legal or equitable interest, however small." Several judges responded to the report, claiming the mistakes were caused by court clerks or misspellings in conflict-screening software. "Some blamed court clerks. Some said their recusal lists had misspellings that foiled the conflict-screening software. Some pointed to trades that resulted in losses. Others said they had only nominal roles, such as confirming settlements or transferring cases to other courts, though there is no legal exemption for such work," the Journal wrote. The Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts told the Journal that it "takes very seriously its obligations to preclude any financial conflicts of interest." "The Wall Street Journal's report on instances where conflicts inadvertently were not identified before a case was resolved or transferred is troubling, and the Administrative Office is carefully reviewing the matter," the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts said. The report could upend hundreds of cases, which may need to be reheard by a new judge. After being notified about the Journal's report, 56 judges instructed court clerks to begin notifying parties involved in 329 lawsuits about the conflict of interest.
yeah Tesla? Texas Cops Sue Tesla After Car On Autopilot Hit 5 Officers At Traffic Stop By Bill Galluccio September 28, 2021 A group of Texas police officers filed a lawsuit against Tesla after a car on autopilot plowed through a traffic stop in February. The incident occurred on February 27 when officers had pulled over a vehicle in the right-hand lane of a highway in Splendora, a suburb in Houston. While the officers, along with a canine unit, were searching the vehicle for drugs, a Tesla Model X rammed into two police cars at 70 mph, injuring five officers and a civilian. The officers blame Tesla for the crash, claiming the Model X's autopilot feature "failed to detect the officers' cars or to function in any way to avoid or warn of the hazard and subsequent crash." They accused Tesla of knowing about a defect in the software in which flashing lights can prevent the vehicle from recognizing pedestrians and other vehicles. However, despite knowing about the issue, the lawsuit claims that Tesla failed to fix the problem. "Tesla's blatant refusal to adopt additional safeguards or to fix the issues with its Autopilot system demonstrate a lack of supervision and oversight of Tesla's Autopilot system. Tesla has intentionally decided not to remedy these issues and must be held liable and accountable, especially when it has detailed knowledge of the risks and dangers associated with its Autopilot system," the lawsuit states. The officers are seeking between $1 million and $20 million in damages from the automaker. "The officers want to hold Tesla accountable, and force Tesla to publicly acknowledge and immediately correct the known defects inherent in its Autopilot and collision avoidance systems, particularly as those impact the ongoing safety of our nation's first responders," the lawsuit says.
I think the only way this would make me happy is if Tesla lost a billion dollars yet the judge ruled the money would go to paying off lawsuits against police. I want nothing good to happen to either side here.
I always ridicule people for arguing that Manchin should be primaried, but I have to wonder if Sinema is actually going to get a challenger. That state is moving the opposite direction of WV.
