Agreed but still there is a big difference between Portland/Eugene/Salem and Roseburg/Medford/Gresham. Regardless, this state has a racist af past and there is a major lack of diversity because of it
This is the map as of 2013. Notice how the 7th is generally the central-west part of the state. It covers a large chunk of the Black Belt and insidiously reaches out to grab selective pieces of Birmingham and Montgomery. You can see where the white populations around Tuscaloosa, Birmingham, and Montgomery have made sure that their votes are separate from the black population. It's fucking disgusting and i hate this state (and country).

This has to be consistent with everything GOP. For example, if you take away the R and present someone with most policy stances, it would go hard D (giggity). You see that all of the time in Florida when people vote on actual amendments. Or in this case, take away the R and just look at the pile of filth and yeah, it's not attractive.
