That’s sort of the thing I’ve been thinking about DeSantis. He’s no doubt on board with and figureheading the psychotic shit but he’s just the final signature. A Governor being credited with the legislature’s work is dumb. An executive can be ineffective in bully pulpit-ing the legislature (see: Diamond Man), but anyone voting for “this guy gets things done” on the national level will be sorely disappointed when the country continues the same status quo song and dance in perpetuity.
