    I've always hated walking (as exercise) my whole life. My attitude was if I was going to commit time to exercise, I needed to "feel it". Walking was never hard so it felt like a waste of time.

    Well I was an idiot. Walking is awesome. It's not hard so I don't dread it and am therefore more likely to do it, and it allows me to catch up on shows if on the treadmill or get a dose of nature if outside. I love it. I'm doing 10-11 miles a week outside plus 2-3 treadmill sessions when the weather doesn't cooperate, and it's low stress enough that I can still do weights 4x a week.

    been in maintenance mode the past two weeks while dealing with a whole lot of family stuff. proud I haven't gone off the wagon, just a few heavier meals than usual. Luckily I have managed to sandwich really healthy streaks in between the bad meals to prevent any major gain. weighed in at 220.0 today so only up less than half a pound. should be able to get settled in starting tomorrow and get back in the negatives next week.

    Mardi Gras is ending today - that means king cakes stop showing up at the office. That is my weakness, even if I only get a small piece it's still pure wasted calories and a lot of them.

    Spent last week at a resort in Cancun for a work conference and while I didn’t stay on my diet I ate pretty well, but I drank roughly a thousand mezcalitas a day so I consider this a success

    Didn't sign up for this, but started keto Jan 6 at 238 lbs. Currently 213, haven't worked out or given up alcohol, so I'm kind of impressed by the hard work I put in to gain that weight in the first place

    I had no issues this morning inputting my 3lb gain. Wife's birthday weekend included cake, ice cream, cupcakes, brunch buffet, and bunches of booze consumption. Getting back on track this week.

    Man, just from my point of view, it’s way harder to lose weight when you’re already not that heavy. Your body takes less calories to function so sometimes it’s easy going over that number. Are you drinking enough fluids? Not doing so will make your body hold onto extra water. Do you exercise? There’s so many variables in weight loss.

    I’m losing anywhere from 0.5 to 1.0 pound a week. Not good for the competition but good for sustainability, been sick the past week so hoping I can up my workout intensity to get back on track and knock a few pounds off next weeks weigh in.

    I had been very good about tracking my water and having enough, but I fell off that this week and I'm pretty sure the larger than normal jump is just me being a little dehydrated

    Clothes are fitting better and people are starting to notice, which is always nice.

    Same plan. Still just counting calories and walking a ton + weights 4 days a week. Up to 65 miles walked outside since 02/01, another 30 miles on treadmill.

    expecting this upcoming week to be flat or even slightly backwards. Business trip to Chicago today, birthday and golf on Friday. Will indulge a bit for both but strict the rest of the week. Will see if I can work it off

    Had a good week but I weighed in after fishing for 6 hours in 15 mph win in a kayak so think I was dehydrated and hungry. However. Getting very close to lowest I’ve been since having a kid.

    I’m down a few more pounds but not super consistent at tracking and I’m nowhere near the money so I’m effectively dropping out of the formal competition while trying to continue doing better
