Really not sure what I was watching starting with that sequence at the airport. I assume this is not so subtly setting us up for something soon or next season where Taylor is involved with the DA office and Claxon.
So...about his money. Did he manage to get some of it out? Or was his loss part of the ruse? Cause that's cold.
Theoretically the stock would shoot back up when the public learns what Axe did, so he could be planning to make it back that way.
Wow, yeah no way Axe makes it outta this one. He's caught red handed... . it'll be interesting to see if old Rhodes lost all that money and miss Rhodes is caught up in all of this. Crazy
his wife shorted it too, wouldn't she be busted for insider trading as well since she got the info at Axe Cap if Rhodes goes forward with it?
Hard to imagine someone blowing their entire trust fund to put someone in jail. He's used to a lifestyle he won't be able to afford anymore.
I bet he thinks the old lady and him are getting back together, and she has money so why not. He's going to be in for a surprise when he finds out she in it to.
I hope Chuck realizes she's in over her head and is so cold that he takes her down. He has started down the path to the dark side after all.
He fucked over his best friend(I think) and father in the show, he doesn't care about anything but his version of power. Season 2 is a million x better than season 1. Of course Axe will get out of it, him in prison does nothing for this show.
Maybe he doesn't go to jail forever but Axe is going to have to be in some trouble for once. He hasn't really felt too much pain throughout the show and Chuck had his down and out moment early this season. Time for Axe to go through some shit.
Chuck doesn't give a shit about the money in his trust. He has lived his whole adult life without that money. He craves power and, most of all, winning. As said above, he viewed his father and best friend as expendable in his game to finally get Axelrod. The money was just another piece of it. I would imagine a part of him is relieved to not even have the trust hanging over him as he advances in his political career. That money did nothing to help him accomplish his goals.
i'm all the way caught up chuck is a real piece of shit but lmao at this elaborate plan by him that will inevitably collapse
chuck is such a psycho too bad i only got into this show a few weeks ago but i have to wait like a year for new stuff lara is also like the most meh character from one of these cable shows i can remember
Chuck is a bigger pos than Bobby it's gonna be Maggie or his bff that will be the thread Bobby says he's gonna pull
Just caught up on last two eps. Fucking awesome and I've been team the show is meh, but will watch because I like the plot. Also, closing song was amazing
Finished the first two seasons. Thoroughly enjoy the show. I'm not near as harsh of a critic as some, apparently. Not everything has to be True Detective S1 for me.
Billions, Season 3: Don't miss the Season 3 premiere of Billions, Sunday March 25, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT.
I watched the first few eps and dropped it. Then I saw an ep this weekend out of order on hotimes free weekend I kind of liked it. Worth revisiting?
