Well shit looks like they went too ambitious and took the Ubisoft approach of filling ever area with tons of tedious fetch quests and points. I got it for PC and PS4 for the fiancee so ill play out the ps4 version then if I enjoy it enough ill keep it on Steam otherwise use the refund feature
I wanted this to succeed so badly, but just the dialogue alone is a huge letdown. I am ok with the "animal noises" or whatever, but I don't need a British guy translating everything with the same boring speeches and no skip feature.
If you don't want to feel like you are playing a nature documentary. Settings: Audio: Speech put it 0
Streaming now I have seen enough to invest in this I don't mind large exploration loops with less emphasis on combat in some areas.
Didn't even think of that and good to know. For as much as this game has to offer in visuals, it just lacks a certain something. I am enjoying so far overall and am closer to a 7 or so out of 10 for me still.
Considering it was small development team they looked like they reached for the stars with all these different RPG elements but didn't do any of them really well. Seems like it suffers from Ubisoft level quest and map stuffing. Combat seems fluid but floaty without much of a different feeling from shooting a hand cannon or swinging a dagger. I won't mind the zen type exploration though.
Agreed on all accounts. It’ll serve a purpose for me and I don’t regret getting it. Support the small teams efforts.
Things I really like so far, switching between melee, guns, and wung fu is seamless. I like that they went with a post human apocalyptical setting. Some of these towns and cities that are overgrown give me that Last of Us vibe. I really enjoy the crafting and that loot is pieces of weapons and armor instead of just find this gun or armor
One Knight It is goofy stupid fun, the crafting is incredible and loot is pieces of weapons and armors plus clothing ect
lol that is horrifying...ly hilarious. I'll definitely check it out, if I can get it to run acceptably
It is getting a bit repetitive, but now level 20 still barely scratched the of exploration and story just so much to do.
The more I play this game the more I really enjoy it. Each new area, each new crazy looking enemy, and the constant want to find and craft some insane weapon is a great hook.
