Maybe devine will make a visit to the Magic City. I need someone to sit with since it's a daytime game!
Great episode. They were banging during their lunch break in the back of a Cook’s pest control truck in the boutwell parking deck.
Coincidentally, that's extremely similar to how One Two lost his virginity except it was a Metro Truck rental behind the Hoover Met.
This has lived in the deep recesses of my brain since a very young age and comes out at the most random times.
Our first attempt will probably be the 22nd street parking deck. I’ve had success there for major events in the past.
Went to Helen tonight and that was a fantastic meal. Had the Iberca Presa and my favorite side was the rapini. Definitely worth the hype I’ve heard from my Bham friends. The banana pudding was also on point.
What’s your favorite Teppanyaki in Bham area? Seems like they are all kindof mediocre to bad, but if you had to pick one. It’s been a few years but I’m ready to throw down on some ghetto hibachi and saki this week.
Had some friends go to a “hibachi party” a week or so ago for one of their friend’s birthday. ~15 people, $50 per person, and a hibachi chef comes to your house and does the thing. They said it was a country dude from ~Calera with a Blackstone who came over, didn’t put on any kind of production, cooked shitty food and left. My friends said it sucked. But the guy made like $750 or so
Hibachi Joe is the man https://hibachijoellc.com/ also maybe not http://www.espn.com/espn/eticket/story?page=JoeCook
I just had to send a quote for approval to Birmingham Southern….I’m going to have a bad time aren’t I
What's the go to for furniture here? I need a new bedroom set and probably wanna keep it under $2500.
Ashley's Furniture on 150 if you want to keep it under $2500. that may even be tight. shit is expensive.
If you want to put in the work and wait, do CL/FB Marketplace/etc. We've gotten some nice things on there. I hate buying disposable furniture, and we've found some great buys on there. You can always tell if the person is sane by the listing... and the quality of anything older and solid wood will be way better than new.
Does anyone have any experience with Nelson Tree Company? They quoted me $500 less than anybody else, which makes me a little nervous.
Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s would be my best guess. Maybe call Son of a Butcher to see what they say?
