The only good service experience I’ve had was when it was shut down for a rehearsal dinner. The other times I’ve been it has been pretty bad. Which I hate cause it’s a cool spot.
I look forward to posting my review. Deuce, who is someone I trust, having such strong negative feelings about the place kinda makes me more excited about it tbh. Adds an air of mystery.

Oranjello u dumb fuck, Helen is tremendous. Ibérico pork is out of this world. Wine list needs work but still very nice
They have a new coach every 1-2 years so zero stability. The basketball coach, who is really good, recently took over as AD so we'll see what he can do.
Nope. I talked the former bar manager Friday night, and he said that he doesn’t know if/when it will reopen.
Btw, when we talked about high school fraternities awhile back, southlick didn't mention Huffman. They definitely had the HS frat thing back in the day! Hell, I probably still have one of those old Huffman frat shirts lying around somewhere.
Late 80's. I did mention our lettermen's club or whatever it was. It was sponsored by the baseball coach.
There's a family friendly event at Cahaba Brewery tomorrow from 12-5pm that's being put on by a fantastic local non-profit called Libby's Friends. There will be bounce houses, antique fire trucks, and trick or treating for kids. Plus hot dog eating, stein hoisting, and costume contests as well. And hot dogs for casual eating, too. Also live music and beer. All to raise money to provide grants to children and adults that need financial help to get medical equipment and care. Gonna be a real nice day.
Yeah, that evolved into full blown hs frat by the early to mid 90's. They had some solid parties though. Great baseball team back then.
It's weird how the 80's now look like it was a century ago. Didn't realize Coach English was at Huffman then.
He bolted to Hewitt Trussville after my Sophomore year. I believe he has two HS baseball fields named after him.
So adults can participate in the bounce houses and antique fire trucks but not the trick or treating? That’s kinda fucked up, Libby
COLD AIR BLAST: Cold air rolls into Alabama tomorrow; by mid-afternoon temperatures will be only in the 40s over the northern third of the state with a chilly north wind. Temperatures will reach the 80s over the southern counties tomorrow, but it will be the last day with 80s for quite a while. All of Alabama will be in the cold air Tuesday with highs generally in the 50s. And, by daybreak Wednesday, a freeze is likely over the northern half of the state, with 30s all the way down to I-10. Thursday morning will be just as cold... then a slow warming trend begins Thursday afternoon. Some patchy light rain or drizzle is possible tomorrow and Tuesday as the cold air arrives, but many places won't have enough rain to measure, and drought conditions will continue to intensify across the Deep South. There is some hope for a meaningful rain event around November 7-8, when thunderstorms could be involved.
