He was/is lead vocals in the Black Jacket Symphony for certain runs. He sang Eddie Vedder's parts when they performed Ten iirc.
If anyone is looking for something to do this beautiful afternoon, swing by Cahabazaar and buy some flowers from Lady Tegg.
Didn't realize a colleague lives in the Cortland Vesta. Am I missing something, or do these seem like very small/inefficient plans? Or am I just getting old and have lived in bungalows too long? https://cortland.com/apartments/cortland-vesta/floorplans/
hosting trivia at mom's tonight if anyone wants to come through no idea why i agreed to the day after the super bowl
doin early valentine's din with gf tonight at current. have been once before and enjoyed it but wanted to see if anyone who had been more recently had any newer menu items they particularly enjoyed
Can we get an official Bham map or at least an official Bham zip code list? I got people telling me all the time that they live in Birmingham. I give them a "Oh yeah. What part?" They tespond with "Lake View" "McCalla".
Top Tier (7/10+) Slim’s Pizza Grace Rocky’s Tortuga’s Uncle G’s Trattoria Zaza Good, not great (5/0-7/10) Salvatore’s Bettola Bongiorno’s Davenport’s P.O.P.’s Slice Giuseppe’s Filling Station Pizzeria GM Bottega Troup’s
Yep. Also, Stretching to two locations while still struggling to keep staffing was bad. I still haven’t tried the consolidated Lane Park spot have heard it’s not great
I think it's pies and pints that does a street corn pizza that's really good. I would not suggest anything else from there Also, Davenports too low.
Davenports is great but it’s a little inconsistent. When it’s cooked well and the crust has that cracker crunch I love it, but I’ve had some underdone pizzas from there that were kind of bad.
I don’t live in Bham anymore but Davenports was like a quarterly craving. Loved it so much from time to time.
You must be not-Over-the-Mountain. What even is life like over there? Edit: incredibly sarcastically toned post about pizza superiority not coming through as strongly as I thought at 1:18am
Pizza Grace and Bettola types are clearly better but as far as the next rung down, it’s the closest thing we got going to an Antico type style.
got to say "The Edge" in Homewood has been a delightful surprise. big terf area for kids to play. lots of good food and bev options. massive screen for games. seems like they have worked most of the kinks out. it is a hidden gem for now but have a feeling it will be a complete shit show this spring.
