The album grew on me. Hated it at first, but now I appreciate it. The "matcha/gotcha" line in Mint Tea is still ass though.
I just watched a whole line of them go down first doing wheelies and stuff while running a red light for long enough that it cycled through to green again.
Can someone in the know lend any validity to these Phish coca-cola amphitheater rumors. September 13th & 14th. Tia.
I've heard they're playing "after Bourbon & Beyond" from the friend who is the closest person I know to the band
Probably as this post was made Friday afternoon, I saw two motorcycles wreck getting off 280 in MB Village by the Shell.
Birmingham: 9/13 and 9/14 Alpharetta: 9/16 and 9/17 Heavily rumored. Pretty good information out there from Ameris Bank Amp staff that they have holds for 9/16 and 9/17. Which would jive with the Coca-Cola rumors.
I live in Vestavia and my general rule is I leave the house an hour before my flight starts boarding, never led me astray or had me sitting around forever.
The only time there's ever a stack for security is in the early morning on weekdays. Just increases the pain of the early flight...
Yes. Bham TSA is pretty tight for some reason. When I was flying back from Newark once I just automatically started taking off and out all of the stuff Bham tsa asked for and Newark tsa yelled at me to put some of it up and back on
What day of the week? Actually, that late in the day it probably doesn’t matter. Monday mornings are usually more hectic with weekly commuters. I would probably get there at 10:20, but you could probably arrive 30 minutes before boarding and be fine.
Birmingham is one of the few airports I’ve been to where Clear is of zero benefit. More people have it than precheck.
Huntsville is the same. The PreCheck line, at least in the mornings, is always way longer than the normal line.
Not sure what times you guys are flying but I’m on the weekday 7:30 to Atlanta every so often and feel like pre check still gets me through faster.
Last time I was in Boston, it was like this too. Probably 50 people on the clear line and about 15 in the precheck.
Horrible is hyperbole. Arena comedy isn’t ideal but I’ve seen a few shows there and it’s better than at home.
I did this routinely early in my career…day trip to Brownsville, Texas, St.Paul Minnesota, Dubuque, Iowa or any other dot on the map.. I was the middle America day tripper.
It definitely afforded the opportunity to see parts of the country I would have otherwise never seen. There are certain things I miss about it. Mainly the random conversations with fellow travelers when the opportunity presented itself (and almost never on the actual plane). Something about the airport psychology and knowing I’m never going to see or talk to a person again is liberating and emboldening to engage. Basically, “Have a nice life…” and meaning it.
lag's might be a good option cause you could sit outside and then just walk down (parking is likely gonna be insane closer to the brewery, so our plan is to go to mom's at like 5:30 and then walk over, stopping at either lag's or maybe get a travis burger on the way)
also a spot that i don't feel like gets enough love and granted it would still require driving afterward to the show - the food truck at mayawell fucking rules
