what assistant and who was the player
OR ARE THESE MORE VAGUE STORIES
So many compliance offices to email, so little time
I have no idea who that guy is but how does a compliance department even stop that besides following players around/routine body checks for new tattoos?
Hire hookers to do clandestine body checks.
I’ll not be divulging that information.
I will say the player in question is a man of faith, so I’m confident Brother Dabo’s recruitment of him was completely above board.
Apparently Colorado thinks Nick Saban, for whatever reason, is out to destroy Colorado football.
I think it was southlick that posted the message board posts
same way they are apparently checking the purchases of players to make sure they match up with the items they own. Because they clearly know every time someone gets a free $60 PS4 game.
Send to [email protected] or stop slandering these young men
Lol the classic “every other school cheats but my team”. Buddy I’ve got news for you, OU and OSU are just as slimy as the Alabama/UGA’s of the world
brh is the only 5* player from florida that ou has signed, and his other finalist was nebraska...
the next best player from florida that ou had committed in the last 5 years flipped to miami. who else are you talking about? bonnitto? daley (already transferred out)? jaden davis? those guys were all fringe 4*s
ou definitely cheats, but not on the level of that top tier
ou isn't even close to alabama and uga. i promise you that. and it sucks because i wish ou was
I reckon the best talent in Texas comes free!
The school of Barry Switzer is clean. Ok.
I don’t doubt Alabama and UGA are more dedicated to cheating in football than OU, results speak for themselves. I find it comical that any college football fan actually believes an elite level team doesn’t pay players. I don’t really care what current/past OU players say about what they did/didn’t get offered
i don't think you'll find anyone denying cheating either. it definitely happens. there are levels though, and its basically institutionalized at places like a&m, auburn, bama, uga, etc with schools like oregon entering the mix
BRH was the main one. Everyone knew he had his hand out. Why do you think he was committed to Nebraska? The WR Hazelton isn’t from Florida but he was another one that everyone knew was looking for a pay day.
Barry Switzer's many horrific recruiting violations include adding to Mack Brown's bonus out of his own pocket, getting a friend of mine's parents(dad was on the team) new clothes after everything they owned burned in an apartment fire 3 days after their wedding and flying a player home on his dime to Indianapolis to see his dying father. Most of the shit that went down in the SWC and Big 8 in the late 70's and 80's has to do with Texas running the NCAA office at the time. Every school in the SWC besides Texas and Rice got hit with major violations of some kind in the late 70s and 80's, along with OU and OSU.
My understanding is that everyone backed off of bookie because he frankly isn't big enough to be a good player at high levels of competition(and this has proven correct).
Haselwood's recruitment supposedly came down to a few things(my friend is/was a wide receiver)including his dad being from Oklahoma, and them not being sold on Miami developing him as a player. The wild part of his recruitment is that it was between OU and UGA, and the reason he didn't go to UGA was because his parents didn't want him around George Pickens and thought the offensive staff was moronic(something that I think every UGA fan will agree with). The Haselwood's aint hurting for money either
I think what you'll find is that everyone has some way of compensating guys at school(despite compliance departments doing their best to control it) but only a select few have a dedicated program for paying recruits. Saban's system has worked for years and nobody has ever been really busted using it. my theory is that A&M will be the first(texas will shit themselves sooner rather than later) but it's nearly bulletproof
OP, please rename thread "bitter opposing fan conspiracy theories"
This is incredible posting
Yeah Nebraska wasn’t really playing the game then. Also BRH isn’t really from Florida right, just an IMG thing.
Saddam Hussein's many war crimes include giving women semi-basic rights, giving a few hundred dollars to a church in Detroit & wanting to be a lawyer
pulled the same "i got the details on cheating scandals... but that shit doesn't happen at Oklahoma" in the recruiting thread
grim knows his shit about ou currently fwiw
but yeah, switzer was a cheating monster. look up charles thompson back then you could be a lot more brazen
that was a crazy story. similarly, pretty sure there was a covert operation to get keith jackson out of arkansas
i think we can all agree that smu was the worst
What’s next? Are you going to allege that CRAIG JAMES KILLED FIVE HOOKERS?
craig james, the same guy who killed five hookers, did indeed kill five hookers
I'm sure Jaden Haselwood was just utterly appalled at the money that UGA was throwing at him which led him to OU where he couldn't be lured with dirty money
Why did you bring him in here?
