Watched a couple Twitch streams of this MMO today as the alpha broadened. I haven't played an MMO in a long ass time but it might get me back. It combines an advanced combat system with RPG elements in an MMO world. Oh and it's maybe the most gorgeous game I've ever seen.
Was watching it earlier as well, trying to figure it out from watching these guys. Might play if they put out a beta.
Degree of difficulty seems to vary huge by class choice, the wizard seemed simple, watching a Sorcerer now and it's stupid complex to play.
Soooo this just came out, was watching a stream on twitch and said fuck it I have $30 in my paypal and got it. Downloading now. Let me know if you want to try the guest pass Lyrtch I have one.
I'm playing it as well, very casually on the server Orwen. I have two 7 day guest passes if anyone wants to give it a go.
Pretty good, it's a sandbox mmo. So you can do what you want and progress how you want. End game is mainly PvP if that's your thing. The game is very grindy. It's buy to play, and they have a horrible cash shop. Seems OK for casual play like I'm doing. I might join a guild down the road and jump into the large scale PvP stuff. Nothing like wow or ffixv. More like Eve.
Then definitely skip this one, the end game is currently guild vs. guild type combat. Castle sieges and fighting for territory. There's world bosses and small dungeons, but nothing is instanced. So you have to fight others to kill those type of bosses.
