How tall is the one guy he interviewed on the street this week? I’m not sure if he reached Bomani’s hips.
The Stephen A interview was amazing Bo simply asked him what life was like in 2022, which is admittedly vague, but what Stephen A heard was "tell me how famous you are". He went on for minutes about how there are lines of people waiting for an autograph at Knicks games and how he's more famous than pro athletes. Also talked about how tough he is, because he's from New York... I've never heard anyone say that before. Or jersey.
I had no idea that last night was the season finale of Game Theory. I thought he was just finding his groove.
Foxworth Friday is a bright light during these dark times. Such an enjoyable listen, even when talking about dark stuff like Deshaun. Wish it was daily vs weekly
so he's taking an indefinite leave? he said he's been stacking vacation and is taking time off but it didn't seem like a certainty that The Right Time would come back
I just heard it as he’s been burning the candles at both ends so long he’s taking a break. Maybe I missed something but it didn’t feel like a swan song. See if Fox can cover for a while.
Jak Knight dying, Desus & Mero going in different directions, and Bomani is on hiatus. Dark times for your guy right now. Jordan Peele gotta hit NOPE out of the park this week, or I'm going to start crying.
I didn't listen to the whole pod on Friday and missed the ominous sound off. Even if Right Time doesn't come back I would think he would get another show in some form. The guy is way too good at what he does to just disappear.
Id rather him stay on ESPN, as they need more legitimate voices, but him going to Meadowlark makes too much sense esp as they dive deeper into documentaries
My buddy writes for his show, I get the impression that bomani maybe took on too much work and may just be scaling back.
John Skipper and Dan Le Batards venture. Its mostly just podcasts right now, but their ultimate plan is to do 30 for 30 style video content they sell to the streaming platforms.
some of its hit or miss tbh, like Grant Wahl's soccer pods. Same with Basketball Illuminati with Tom Haberstroh. Very topic or guest-dependent on whether I will listen. They do have the Shutdown Fullcast crew. Soccer Cooligans and Dan's South Beach Sessions is good. The Le Batard & Friends show feed will aggregate a lot of their various pods which is helpful.
His last pod he said he was talking a break from the podcast. Also with the shakeup at HBO, maybe his show got axed
Foxworth getting his own pod is interesting. I forgot how much I missed this. Only one a week for the month though.
