That was a big win in Cleveland tonight. Nice to get a road win to open the series. Impressive considering Gibson didn’t get out of the 4th inning.
And without Rosie and Cron. The lineup’s ability to make up for IL or underperforming guys is the reason they’ve avoided a big slump. Gibby showing he’s the weakest link I. The rotation despite a few gems. I think Stroman out of Toronto is the arm I’d most like the FO go for.
Great start to the series with Cleveland, a sweep would be huge. I hope the front office makes a move sooner than later to get the guys they want and not know is left over. Team is good but the pitching still needs help and dont want to burn Taylor rogers out
Rosie is so fuckin cool. Garver’s Jack was awesome too. Not confident about Buck though. I forgot he was already out with a concussion before. And I can’t remember what the record was without him in the lineup but it was...not good.
I think it's something like 7-15 without him playing, afraid this will be another mauer/morneau where this lingers and comes up frequently. Really hope we make a move that gives the team a boost. A lot of talent but dont want them to fade
Exactly, can’t help but remember Mauer and Morneau. I’d like to see someone other than Cave up for the outfield but I really don’t know who else is ready.
If Wade and Buxton will be out for an extended period of time, the FO needs to but the bullet on service time and bring up Rooker or Davis. Seems like a more cost effective then overpaying for a 4th OF in a trade.
Went to last night's game. That was a kick to the nads. Going today as well. Highlight of the weekend was seeing Surly for the first time. What a great place.
Why do you all reckon the TV and radio guys roll the rr in Arraez so consistently but never do it for guys with names like Berrios or Torres? It’s like Twins PR gave them a stern talking-to or something. So they always need to pause a half a beat to say it. Anyway.
I enjoy watching the ball leave Sano's bat. That one and the HR against the Yankees left absolutely no doubt. People just don't hit it to the upper deck in CF at Target Field. Thome did and Sano does but you don't see it often.
I don't know if I've ever seen the fan fair turn on a guy from a bad way to a good guy like Sano. A month ago everyone wanted him gone.
Especially with his history of a decline when we get late into the season. Should be a fun series with Cleveland. I'm optimistic the bullpen may show a little better with the rest they've gotten over the past couple games when Rocco leaned on the starters for longer.
a little late but fun series guys. between our pen and they way yall mash i was never comfortable with either lead. hopefully we play again this season
