and this is my second time. I loved the first one. Blood Bank was insane live.
used to work across the street and we'd eat there or Southern at least twice a week
The show I went to really didn’t have any slow songs.
Blood Bank live is amazing
it's so good live
there's a live version on Dark Was The Night that I have downloaded bc it's so much better than the studio version
I am going to have to remember to search for this version later tonight when I’m home.
This was the set list from the show I went to. It was the second show in LA so he played more older stuff from what I remember.
I’m more of a fan of the older stuff like For Emma, For Ever Ago and Bon Iver. He had a decent mix of those plus Blood Bank in there.
Honestly, disappointing set list. No emma, wash, flume, creature fear, strafford, skinny girl, etc. Ton of new stuff, which okay. But I would have personally preferred some more older stuff. I might be tho.
or beth/rest. Which i really wanted me to hear.
This. We were there last night and thought it was meh.
Our 2nd date was seeing him at The Ryman in October 2017 and it was pretty much an acoustic set of all the hits.
He played that at the Cincy show, along with Blood Bank. And Heavenly Father. The set definitely skewed towards newer stuff and there were a few songs I wish he played but didn't (Skinny Love), but he sounded really good and I was pretty satisfied overall.
