I should be in line by this time next week or setting up camp. That handicapped camping area is gonna be great.
Hopefully it changes but damn looks like its gonna be another hot one. I think 11 or 12 was the worst.
We are in a slight drought too. It got some rain yesterday. Prepare for dust. Also, i got my confirmation from Spectrum to camp.
Nah that was 11. 12 was in the 70s and low 80s. I slept until noon on Saturday that year. It was glorious.
11 was hot as fuck. Got sun burned bad on Thursday setting up the campsite. Buddy brought a fucking black tent so it was sweltering by 7 AM. Slept probably 6-7 hours all weekend. It also rained for like 30 minutes on Saturday night. Black Keys were sub-headlining main stage before Eminem and huge thunder clouds moved in as they were jamming out and it opened up a bit right after their set. Was great. However, camp was soaked on Saturday and there was mud all over on Sunday and we decided to leave Sunday night before Widespread instead of "sleeping" another night in the mud. Can't imagine what it's like if there's actually a steady day or two of rain like '08, so glad for y'all it isn't raining.

Me: "Oh, I'll download the bonnaroo app so I can look up the schedule on there instead of the website." Me: "Awesome, now I know the first 2 letters of every band playing."
The Farm is getting its last rain shower until the weekend. Light rain. The next four days would have made the perfect weather.
Can we just check and see if they can start early? I don't really feel like working 2 more days anyway
Also read on inforoo 50k confirmed tickets sold. Campground food vendor said they cut half their staff.
PSA - Expect lane closures I 24 E around mile marker 78-81 from 8P - 5A. They are cutting the road and repaving. Uneven lanes.
I have free Bonnaroo posters for anyone who wants some. Come stop by our groop camp, meet a real life TMB legend 34, grab a poster, and hang out.
Bringing down a bunch of Ontario craft beer for trade as well. My phone won't be working but we are one of the biggest groops this year. I think we'll be easy to spot
My schedule as of now. I leave my shift at 5 everyday. I am missing Bully and BØRNS on Thurs. Oh well Friday - Wife's birthday so we will have to go shopping for an hour or so. Cool with me because I dont know any band. 11 - LCD 1 - Tame (hopefully BFF makes it through) Sat 2 - Grace Potter 4 - Chris Stapleton 7 - Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats Then bounce around until 1015 - Pearl Jam Sun 4 - Jason Isbell 8 - Dead and Co. Thats it for me. We usually stay camped out in VIP on Sundays after our shift.
My "if I were going this year" schedule. Friday is amazing, Saturday is ok, and not too hot on Thursday or Sunday. Have fun everyone who's heading out there. Thursday: 6 - Waxahatchee 7 - Bully 11 - Borns Friday: 4 - Daughter 5 - Kamasi Washington 6:30 - Chvrches 7:30 - Vince Staples 8:15 - Leon Bridges 10 - M83 11 - LCD Soundsystem 1 - Tame Imapla 2:30ish - end of Blood Orange if I'm tired of Tame Saturday: 2 - Grace Potter 4 - Chris Stapleton (in reality I'd either get in late and miss Grace, or go to a tent after Grace) 6 - TDCC 7:30 - Haim 10 - Pearl Jam 12:30 - Superjam 2 - Maybe see end of Big Grams Sunday: 3:30 - Kurt Vile 5 - Father John Misty 6 - Death Cab 7 - Ween 8 - Dead & Co
As far as I can tell right now this is my plan based on what I can catch at firefly and not comparing this to what Keef or BAE is doing (2nd of which likely won't change much). Thursday LANY > Waxahatchee (or London Souls) > Hundred Waters > Vulfpeck > Polyenso > Børns > Cashmere or Floozies Friday Mothers > Jarryd James > Daughter > Misterwives > Lucius > Keys N Krates or Vince Staples > Leon Bridges > Tyler the Creator > LCD Soundsystem > Tame Impala Sarurday Anderson East > Natalie Press > Beach Fossils > Band of Horses > Haim > Pearl Jam > Big Grams Sunday Civil Twilight > GIVERS > THE oh Hellos > Father John Misty > Lord Huron > Dead & Company
Thursday: Vulfpeck > Polyenso > Børns Friday St. Lucia > GRIZ > CHVRCHES > M83 > LCD > Tame Saturday Grace Potter > Chris Stapleton > Beach Fossils > Band of Horses > HAIM > Pearl Jam > Big Grams Sunday GIVERS > FJM > DCFC > Dead & Co
Apparently gates are opening at 4, and people are lining up. TIFWIW Good luck to anyone with party favors.
Ugh I want to be there now. We're leaving in the AM. GF got a solid spot near centeroo and then set up their camping in the grove.
