If y'all need something to sleep on this works well. My wife has used this in her tent the last two years and loves it. It would be great under a pop up tent. It isnt much bigger than a fold out chair in its carry bag. http://www.amazon.com/Guide-Gear-Portable-Folding-Hammock/dp/B003DQ2YIY ~$50
Seriously though that's a good amount of talent in that superjam. No big names like Krieger or Hart like last year but still quite a good set of people that bring unique things to the table. They need more vocalists though. Willing to bet Marcus Mumford comes out for a few songs
I'm getting really excited but at the same time really nervous since I haven't put as much thought into supplies as previous years.
I do a big Memorial Day camp so a lot of my stuff is handy from that. I bought some tote storage boxes this spring and seperated all my gear accordingly. Sleeping bag, air mattress, blanket in one, back packs, sunscreen, knick knacks in another etc.etc.
Fuck what I said. I got a ride from a random girl and my brothers wife got him a ticket to fly in. This is going to be awesome.
The weather in the area has been pleasant. Temps have not been scorching. Memorial Day Weekend was ideal for year round temps. Rain has been 50/50 this week and it looks the same for next. Highs are mid 80s.
Anyone know of someone trying to get rid of a wristband? The brothers wife might come now. She's great.
Here is a spotify playlist I made with 99% of the artists that will be at bonnaroo on it. Each artist/set gets a song and the songs appear in order of appearance on whatever stage they are on from the start of roo till the end. I also have a spreadsheet that makes the schedule a little bit more like an ordered list if anyone would like me to post. https://open.spotify.com/user/crandrews/playlist/6oPbWECWGqUHM5N6OOHuhi
Cannot fucking wait! Doing Firefly the week after again too with the Rolling Stones the Tuesday of Roo. :jizzeverywhere:
Driving by the farm right now. I highly doubt we have a dust bowl. She is getting plenty of rain right now and has for a week or so. Chance of rain every day this week i think in the afternoon.
What new have you guys added to your camping setup for 2015? Anything you're really excited about? For me: A battery pack electrical system using a deep cycle battery and an inverter I just picked up a 10x10 EZ UP from Dicks last night ($60 on sale right now) New camp stove New grill New Camp table Pretty excited.
External battery for phone charging Solar phone charger I want an inverter for a deep cycle battery I have.
Whats your favorite food spot? There is a semi cajun vendor beside the VIP hill at the main stage I hit all weekend. Mumbo Gumbo something dish with a little of everything.
Id like to drink some beer with some of you fools in centeroo this year. My wife isn't going with me this year so I should have more flexibility.
I get shitty service out there. I was lucky enough to meet up with Lifeiskilingme79 last year but I'll try to meet up with y'all.
I'm really excited. I let last year kind of slip by and regretted it all year. This year will be done in fashion. My chick and I will be over for a Saturday morning full of beer pong and whatever that other weird game was.
Local weather forecast brought to you by Daddy Rabbit This weekend's weather would have been manageable. Heat and humidity is picking up in the area, but chances of rain are small ( 30% typical pop up afternoon 5-10 shower). Farm could see some rain this Monday and Tuesday. Temps should come back down to 80s after we reach 90s this Sunday. Too early to predict what we are in for next Thursday-Sunday. Most models show 30-50% chance of rain but that's mostly because of time of year it is.
Im going through most of my stuff today. Im filling up empty plastic jugs and bottles to freeze for ice. Gates open in about 75 hours. I plan on being at the local high school to get my credentials as early as possible Thursday, then head over to Pod 1. Summer weather seems to be setting in here this last week or so. Early forecasts are showing 50% storms Thurs and Fri. Again its too early to tell whats going down weather wise. Prepare for low 90s and chance of rain all weekend.
My girlfriend and I are in Nashville until Roo and it was hot as fuck today. I hope it cools off a bit for the weekend.
Im guessing it will be peak heat of what you had today or more. A local news has low 90s and 30% chance of rain everyday.
Bonnaroo. It's about the music. Coachella is about the social status of being there. A lot of people go just to party in the campgrounds from what I understand.
Luckily the camping aspect keeps more of the under college age out, but other than that all ages, shapes, and sizes.
