Ya that sucks big time. I was looking forward to their set and got tickets for their show here in Houston. I wish Roo would replace them with someone similar but it seems it’s going to be another set from Griz. No thanks.
Confirmed guest pass coming tomorrow still don’t really understand if I’ll be able to get back to the guest area without a parking pass or what the fuck is going on.
I’ve never understood the difference in all those wristbands and what you get with them. There’s a Guest one. This year has a Backstage one. There’s Platinum.
Backstage is the only think that’ll get you backstage, maybe artist pass, being a very well known anrtist and being on a list.
You should get a guest parking pass with your band, but even without they’re usually pretty cool about it as long as you have the guest band. Worst case you do regular day parking and access the guest/artist area via centeroo.
You are with us in spirit. Heading that way from Nash early Friday afternoon. Will be running visuals for Elderbrook and Walker & Royce on The Other Saturday night and then it’s MMJ time. Haven’t been this excited for a set in years. daddy rabbit I’ll shoot you a text when I touch down. Maybe we can link up for MMJ
Ha, not intentional. Haven’t been keeping up here and just saw Jody say he was planning on MMJ. You too? We should all definitely try to catch that one together if so. Messaging you now
The app is great for making your own schedule. There’s a rumor Paramore/Hayley is doing a secret set at House of Yes but nobody knows when. I’m camping in a white van with Colorado plates very close to Plaza 3/House of Yes if anyone is over this way. Cops just brought a dog through campsites and freaked me out a little, but apparently it was just a bomb dog.
My goodness when did Odesza learn to put on a show like this? The What stage ain’t like it used to be
It was a fun year. Solid crowd. For sure more than last year but it wasn’t a sell out. I loved most of the harder sets and it seemed like the crowd was really into them. Korn and Knocked Loose both mentioned they didn’t know how the fans would react to them being there. Pretty sure Korns set had the most people ever at a tent. Tyler Childers was amazing. Portugal. The Man finally changed their set list up and brought back the energy they used to have. AFI was done dirty Friday in the sun but the crowd was into it and they put on a great set. So many to name. Hell of a 10th year for me.
